(286) This Indenture made the first Day of December in the yeare of Christ one thousand and seven hundred and in the Twelfth yeare of his Ma.ties Reigne William the third King of England &c Between Robert Tyler of the County of Prince Georges Gent of the one parte and Tho Roper of the County of Annarundell on the other parte bricklayer both parties in the province of maryland Witnesseth That the said Rob.t Tyler for and in Consideration of one hundred and fifty pounds sterling Money of England to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledg and hath given granted bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed unto the said Tho Roper and to his heires and assignes for Ever and to by these presents give Grant bargaine sell Aliene enfeoff and Confirme unto the said Tho Roper and his heires and assignes for Ever all that parte or parcell of Land Called Ropers Change and Lyeing in the County of Prince Georges being a parte of a parcell of Land formerly Laid out for Co.ll Henry Darnall and Called by the Name of Ropers Change beginning at the south west bounded Tree of abraham Clark and standing in the Line of Samuell Duvall and Runing with the said Clark |
