(13) This Indenture made the sixteenth day of October Anno Dmi One Thousand six hundred Ninety nine Between Edward Sommersett of Pantley in the County of Glocester Esq.r of the one partie by and with the Consent afd Approbacon of the R.t Hono.ble Charles Ld Barron of Baltemore Absolute Lord and proprietary of the province of Maryland in America testified by his signeing and sealing to these p.rsents and Rich.d Bennett and James Heath both of the said Province of Maryland Merch.ts of the other parte whereas by Indent.r bearing date the first day of September in the yeare of our Lord One Thousand six Hundred Ninety and Eight and exprest to be made between the said Charles Ld Baltemore of the one part and the said Edward Sommersett of the other pte The said Charles Ld Baltemore reciteing (as therein is recited) for the further secureing unto the sd Edward Som.rsett Fower Thousand and Two Hundred pounds of Lawfull money of England & for the more Quick and speedy raizeing and payment thereof unto the said Edw.d Somersett and for other Consideracons therein mencond did Give grant bargaine sell Assigne and sett over unto the said Edward Somersett all and every these yearly and other Rents sume and sums of money Issues and proffitts due and payable from the respective owners Tenents Farmers or Occupiers of any Lands or other heriditaments in the said province of Maryland then held or that dureing the terme of the said Indent.r should be held of the said Charles Lord baltemore by pattent grant demise or otherwise and All Arrearages of the same due and unreced at and upon the said first day of August one Thousand six hundred Ninety and Eight then last past and alsoe all and all manner of fine or fines forfeitures and alienacons and All Arrerages of the same due and unreceived at and upon the first day of August One thousand six hundred Ninety & Eight for or by reason of the said fine or alienacon To hold Enjoy pceive receive and take y.e same unto y.e said Edward Somersett his Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes to his and there Owne use benefitt and behoofe for and dureing the Terme of Tenn Yeares to Commence from the first day of August last paste And the said Charles Lord Baltemore did by the said recited Indenture Covenant |
