(12) To all to whom these p.rsents shall Come Wee S.r Francis Child Kn.t Lord Mayor and the Aldermen of the Citty of London doe hereby make knowne and Certify that on the day of the date hereof in his Maj.ts Court holden before us in the Chamber of the Guild hall of the sd Citty Psonally came & appeared Edw.d Sommersett of Pantley in the County of Glocester Esq.r and the R.t Hono.ble Charles Lord Barron of Baltimore Absolute Ld and proprietary of the Province of Maryland in America and Produced unto us A Certaine deed of Bargaine and Sale in Partchm.t Indented bearing date the sixteenth day of October Instant made or mencond to be made between y.e said Edw.d Somersett of the one parte The sd Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore and Richard Bennett and James Heath both of the said Province of Maryland Merchants of the other parte And for more Evidence thereof the said Edward Sommersett and the sd Charles Lord Barron of Baltemore did now Before us in Court and in p.rsence of the Wittnesses y.t have thereunto Subscribed Seale and deliver the said deed of bargaine & sale as there act and deed to the use of the said Rich.d Bennett and James Heath for the purposes therein mencond And humbly brought our Athenticacon and Corroboracon thereunto the effect therein Contained Wherefore wee doe Give this attestacon thereof and in further testimony have caused the seale of the Office of Mayoralty of the said Citty of London to be hereunto putt and Affixed and the said deed to be hereunto annexed Dated in London the Three and Twentyth day of October Anno Dmi 1699 And in the Eleaventh yeare of the Reigne of King William the Third of England &c.a Seale of y.e Office of Mayoralty Goodfellow in London The following Indenture being to these p.rsents Annexed viz.t |
