                               This Indenture made the
       Tenth day of October in the Yeare of our Lord One Thousand
       six hundred and Ninety Nine Between Richard Bennett of Cecill
       County Gent Sonn and heire of Rich.d Bennett deceased and grand
       sonn of Maj.r Genn.tl Bennett deceased on the one part  And Maj.r
       Hinry Lowe of St Mary's County Gent and Susanna Maria
       his wife Daughter of the said Rich.d Bennett deceased and John
       Hawkins and Nicholas Lowe of Talbott County Gent Trustees
       for the said Henry and Susannah Maria and their children on
       the other parte Wittnesseth that the said Richard Bennett Party
       to these p.rsents for and in consideration of the sume of Five
       shillings sterling to him in hand paid by the said John Hawkins
       and Nicholas Lowe the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged
       hath bargained and sold and by these p.rsents doth bargaine and
       sell unto the said John Hawkins and Nicholas Lowe their Ex.rs &
       Assignes all those five severall Tracts of Land lying in Sassafrax
       river in Cecill County Vizt one Tract called holdmandstone
       Containeing Two hundred Acres one called Southward cont.a
       One hundred and Fifty acres one Called Utiesly containeing
       Three hundred their One other Tract called Bennetts hope
       containeing Two hundred acres and one other Tract called
       Greens Oake Containeing Fower hundred and Fifty acres
       according to the Severall Pattents of the same and all houses ways
       Easments proffitts commoditys and appurtenances to the said
       Tracts belonging or of right appurtaineing To have and to hold
       the said Severall Tracts of land and premises unto the said
       John hawkins and Nicholas Lowe their Ex.rs and Assignes from
       the day before the day of y.e date of these p.rsents unto the full end and
       terme of one whole yeare fully to be compleate and ended Yielding
       therefore the rent of one pepper corne on the last day of the said
       terme of the same be Lawfully demanded To the intent that by vertue
       of these p.rsents and of the statute for Transferring uses into possession
       the sd John Hawkins and Nicholas Lowe may be in the actuall
       Possession of the p.rmises and thereby Enabled to Except and take
       a Grant of the inherritance and revercon thereof to such uses as
