       p.chs to Iland Creeke thence south twenty degrees East.rly five hundred Eighty seven p.chs to a point
       Thence East & p North two hundred & seventy p.chs Thence south twenty seaven Deg.rs thirty minutes
       Easterly seaven hundred & sixteen p.chs over devideing Creeke to Howell Powells point which
       p y.e Jury is taken & deemed to be the place where the bounded oake of the originall survey did stand
       & which at that time was demed p the psons the p.rsent to be y.e mouth of Reads Creeke thence
       North East three hundred & forty p.chs to y.e mouth of Crosedore Creeke thence North north west
       six hundred p.chs to a locust thence North West Eleven hundred Eighty & nine p.chs to y.e head of a C.r
       or Cove of Tradehaven C.r the p & with y.e s.d Cove or C.r y.e sundry Courses seet forth in y.e place
        to y.e first begining Conteneing of Land & water within y.e s.d Bounds four thousand six hundred
        twenty & two acrs and noe trespasse made apeare to this Jury to be Comitted or done or any p.t
       of y.e Man.r Hyder Dyer Loyd all w.ch survey may more plainly appear in y.e Platt thereof hereunto

       manifest unto all those who shall see these p.rsents or heare y.e forme read that on the
       twentieth day of Sept.r Annoq Dm 1698 & in y.e tenth yeare of y.e reigne of our Sovereigne
       Lord William y.e Third by y.e Grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland King Defender
       of y.e faith &c Before me James Puckle Notary & Tabellcon Publick dwelling in London by
       Royall Authority admitted & sworne & in y.e p.rsence of y.e wittness hereafter named P.rsonally
       appeared M.rs May Barker widdow & Relict of Thomas Barker formerly of Stepney in the
       County of Midlesex but late of Maryland deceased as by the athentick Copy  of y.e Letters of
       adminitration hereunto annexed more at large it doth & may appeare whee declared to have
       made ordained & constituted & by these p.rsents doth make ordaine & constitute M.r Amos Garrett
       of Maryland M.rchant & George Plater Esquire her true & Lawfull Att.rney Giveing and
       by these psents Granting unto y.e s.d Amos Garret & George Plater Esq.r her true & Lawfull atorneye
       Giveing and by p.rsents granting unto the s.d Amos Garrett & George Plater &
       survivour of them good right full power & Lawfull authority for her y.e s.d Constituant
       & in her name in y.e quality afd to alter [illegible] by all Lawfull waies and
