       such Captaine Comander Leiuitant Master officer seaman souldier or other pson soe offending shall be Left to be
       Proceeded ag.t and Tryed as the meritt of their offence shall require either by comission under the great seale of
       England as y.e statute of Henry Ehith of Henry the Eighth Directs or by comission from the said commissioners for
       Executing the office of high admirall of England or from the high admirall for the time being according to the
       force of an Act of Parliam.t Passed in the Thirteenth yeare of the Reigne of y.e Late King Charles the second and
       not otherwise saving only that it shall and may be Lawfull for you upon any such Captaine and Comander
       Refusing or neglecting to execute or upon his negligence or undue execution of any of the written orders he shall
       Recieve from you for our service and the service of the said Province to suspend him the said Captaine or Comand.r
       from the exercise of his said Office of Captaine or Comander and to Comitt him into Close Custody either on
       Board his said ship or elswhere at your Discreassion in order to the being brouht to answer for the crime by
       comission either under the Great Seale of England or from y.e said Comission.rs for executing the Office of high admirall
       or from the High Admirall for the time being as is before Expressed in which case our will and Pleasure is That
       The Captaine or Comander by you soe suspended shall During such his suspencon and comittment be succeeded in his said
       office by such Comission or Warrant Officer of the said shipp appointed by y.e said Comission.rs for executing the office
       of high Admirall of England or by the high Admirall of England for the time being as by the knowne practice and
       Disipline of our navie does and ought to succeed him as in case of Death sickness or other ordinary Disabiltity happening
       to our Comand.r in Chiefe or any of our said shipps of warre and not otherwise you abiding also accomptable to us for
       the Truth and Importance of the crimes and misdemeanours for which you shall soe pceed to the suspending of
       such Captaine or Comander Provided alsoe that all disorders and misdemeanours comitted or should by any Captaine
       Comander Leiutenant master or other officer seaman souldier or other pson whatsoever belonging to any of our ships
       of warre or other vessells acting by immediate comission or warrant from y.e Comiss.rs for executing the
       ofice of high admirall of England under y.e seale of the Admirallity or from y.e high Admirall of England for y.e
       Time being may bee tryed and punished according to the Law of the place where any such Disorders Offences and
       Misdemeanours shall be soe comitted or shoare notwithstanding such offender be in actuall service and borne in
       our Pay on board any such our vessells of warre or other vessells acting by imediate comission or warrant
       from the commissioners for executing the office of high admirall or from the high admirall as aforesaid
       doe as he shall not recieve any Protection for the avoiding of justice or for such offence comitted on shoar
       from any pretence of his being employed in any service at sea And we doe hereby give you full power &
       authority to appoint faires marts and marketts as alsoe such and soe many Ports Harbours Bays havens and
       other Places for the conveniency and security of shipping and for the better Loading and Unloading of Goods
       and Merchandizes as by you w.th the advice and consent of y.e said Councill shall be thought fitt and necessary
       and in Them or any of Them to erect nominate and appoint custom houses warehouses and offices relating
       theunto and Them to alter Change or Displease from time to time as w.th the advice aforesaid shall be
       thought fitt And our further Will and Pleasure is that you shall not at any time hereafter
       by virtue of any power or authority hereby Granted or menconed to be Granted Take upon you to give Grant
       or Dispose of any places or office within the said Province or Teritory of Maryland which now are executed
       under y.e Great Seale of England any further then that you may upon the vacancy of any such office or Placce or
       suspention of any such officer by you put in any pson to offitiate in the Intervall till the same be disposed
       of by us our heires and successors under the Great Seale of England or that our further directions be given therin
       And wee doe further by these p.rsents will Require and Comand you to Take all possible care for y.e
       Discountenance of vice and Incouragement of virtue and good Living That by such example the Infidells
       may inviled and desire to pertake of the Christian Religion And wee doe hereby require and comand all officers
