       Within Three monthes or somor after y.e making Thereof Transmitted unto us Under y.e seale of Maryland for
       our Approbation or Disalowance of the same as alsoe Dupplicates of y.e same by y.e next conveniency or if it
       happen that During time of Warde noe shipping shall come from the said Province within Three months after
       the making such Laws Statutes and Ordinances whereby y.e same may be Transmitted as afores.d That then the said
       Laws Statutes and Ordinanced be Transmitted unto us as aforesaid by the next conveniency after y.e making thereof
       whereby it may offer And in case any or all of them being not before confirmed by us shall at any Time be
       Disallowed and not approved and soe signified by us or any heires or successors under our or their signe manuell and
       signett by Order of one or their Privy Councill unto you the said Nathaniell Blackiston or to the Comand.r in Chiefe
       of our said Province for y.e sume being when such and soe many of them as shall be Disallowed and not approved
       notwithstanding And To The End That noething may be passed or done by the said Councill or Assembly to the
       Prejudice of us our heires and successors Wee doe hereby will and ordaine ^that^ you the said Nathaniell Blackistone
       shall have a negative vote in the making and passing of all Laws Statutes and ordinances as af.d And that you shall
       and may Likewise from Time to Time as you shall judge it necessary adjourne Prorogue and Disolve all Gener.ll  
       Assemblyes as af.d And our will and Please is That you shall and may use the Publique sale appointed
       or to be appointed by us for the Province of Maryland And wee doe further give and grant unto you the said
       Nathaniell Blackston full power and authority from time to time and att any time hereafter by your selfe
       or by aney to be authorized by you in that behalfe to administer and give the Oathes Appointed by Act of Parliam.t
       to be Taken instead of the oathes of allegiance and suppremacy to all and every such pson or psons as you shall
       think fitt when shall at aney time or Times pass into the said Province or shall be resident or abiding There
       And Wee doe hereby further give and Grant unto you full power and authority w.th the Advice and Consent
       of our said Councill to Erect Constitute and Establishe such and soe many Courts of Judicature and Publique
       Justice within the said Province and Territory under your Governm.t as you and they shall Think fitt and necessary
       for the hearing and Determining of all Causes as well Criminall as Civell According to Law and Equity And
       for awarding the execution thereupon w.th all reasonable and necessary powers authorities fees and priviledges
       belonging unto them as alsoe to appoint and comissionate fitt psons in the severall parts of your Governm.t
       to administer the oathes appointed by Act of Parliament to be Taken instead of the Oathes of Allegiance &
       Suppremacy and the Test unto such persons as shall be obliged to Take the same And Likewise require them to
       subscribe y.e aforemenconed assotiation And Wee doe hereby Authorize and Impower you to Constitute
       and Appoint Judges and in Causes requisite Comissioners of Oyre and Terminer Justices of y.e Peace and
       other necessary officers and ministers in our said Province for the better administracon or justice and putting
       the Laws in execution and to administer or cause to be administered unto them such oath or oathes as are
       usually given for the due execution and performance of officer and places and for the Clearing of Truth
       in Judiciall Causes And Wee doe further by these p.rsents will and require you to pmitt appeales to be
       made in cases of error from the Courts in Maryland to the Governour and Councill there in Civill Causes
       Provided the value appealed for exceed one hundred pounds ster and that security be first duely given
       by the appellant to answer such charges as shall be adjudged in case the first sentance shall
       be affirmed You are not to admitt or allow of any appeales whatsoever to be made from y.e Governour
       and Councill to the Assembly But where wee doe think it absolutly necessary That all our subjects may have
       Liberty to Appeale unto us in Cases that may require the same Our Will and Pleasure that if either party
       doe not rest satisfied w.th y.e Judgm.t or sentence of y.e Govern.r and Councill They may Then Appeale unto us in out
       Privy Councill Provided the Matter in Diffrence exceed the value of Three hundred Pounds sterl and
       that such appeale be made within one Fortnight after sentance and that security be Likewise given by the
       appellant to answer such Charges as shall be awarded in Case y.e sentence of y.e Govern.r and Comander in
       Chiefe and Councill be confirmed and Provided also that execution bee not suspended by reason of any such
       appeale unto us and forasmuch as it may not be fitt That appeales be too frequently and for too shmall a value
       brought brought unto our Governour and Councill you shall therefore w.th the advice of the said Councill
       propose a Law to be passed wherein y.e meathod and Limitation of Appeales may be setled unto us and Govern.r &
       Councill may be setled and Restrained in such manner as shall bee found most convenient and easy for our
       subjects in Maryland And wee doe hereby give and Grant unto you full power and authority where you
       shall Judge any Offender or Offenders in Cryminall Matters or for fines or forfeitures due unto the fitt
       objects of our mercy To pardon all such Offenders and remitt all such fines and forfeitures before or after
