       That hee the said Willm Medley att the time of the Ensealing and delivery of these p.rsents is and
       standeth lawfully Seized in his Demeasne as of Fee Simple or Fee tayle in his owne
       right and to his owne right use without ay Condicon Limitation or other use or trust to alter change
       or determine the same estate of and in the said Mill Land and premisses menconed to be hereby
       Granted bargained and sold and of & in every part and parcell thereof And that the said Willm
       Medley for notwithstanding any Act done by him to the Contrary now hath and att the tyme of the
       first Estate to be had and Executed to the said Stephen Murty according to the intent and true
       meaning of these presents shall have full power Just right and lawfull Authority to grant
       bargaine and sell the same and every part and parcell thereof with their Appurtennces unto the said
       Stephen Murty his heyres and assignes in manner and forme as is before in these p.rsents Expressed And
       that the said Mill Land premisses and every part and parcell thereof with their appurtennces
       shall from henceforth for ever remaine and continue unto the said Stephen Murty his heyres &
       assignes freely acquitted Exonerated and discharged of and from all and all manner of former
       bargaines sales Gifts grants leases rents arrearages of rent Judgments forfeitures Executions
       intrusions and incumbrances whatsoever and of and from all other charges titles troubles and
       incumbrances whatsoever had made Committed or wittingly or willingly suffered to be done by the
       William Medley or by any other person or persons whatsoever lawfully claimeing by from or under
       him or by his means privity or procurement the Rents and services from henceforth to grow due and
       payable to the Lord Propry excepted and foreprized And the said William Medley for himselfe
       his heyres Ex.rs and adm.rs all and singular the before bargained premisses with the appurtennces and every
       part and parcell thereof unto the said Stephen Murty his heyrs Ex.rs & adm.rs or assignes to the use and
       behoofe aforesaid shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these p.rsents In wittnes whereof the
       parties to this present Indenture have hereunto interchangably sett their hands and seales the day
       and yeare first above written                                                               the mark

                            On the backe side of the aforegoing Indenture was written viz.t

       Memorandum That this day to witt the one and twentyeth day of February in the yeare of our Lord
       Two thousand six hundred seaventy six Livery and seizin of all and singular the within menconed Land and
       premisses was by the within named William Medley delivered to the within named Stephen Murty
       according to the true intent and meaning of the within written Indenture In the p.rsence of us
          Acknowledged befor mee this One and twentieth                              Richard Gary
          of February Annoq Domi 1676  Philip Calvert                                  Anthony Leghton
                                                                                                                 John Londow


       Know all men by these p.rsents that I Robert Williams of Fallmouth in old England Marcht have assigned
       ordained and made & in my stead and place by these p.rsents put and constituted my Trusty and welbeloved
       Friends Robert Graham Marchant and William Williams gentl both of Piny Poynt & James Johnson
       of Poplar hill Gentl all of Saint Maryes County my true and lawfull Attorneys for mee & in my name
       place and Stead and to my use and behoofe to also recover and receive all such debts Sume & Sumes
       of money goods wares Merchandizes Sume & Sumes quantity & quantityes of tobacco whatsoever which are
       due & oweing or belonging to mee from all any and every person & psons whatsoever liveing resideinge
       or Inhabitinge in the plantacons or Lands of Virginia & Maryland or ptes adjacent which are now due
       unto mee by any manner of wayes or means whatsoever Giveinge & grantinge unto my Said Attorneys
       my full power and lawfull authority in the premisses to doe say performe Conclude & finish for mee &
       in my name as aforesaid all and every such act & acts thing and things device and devices in the law
       whatsoever for the Recovery of the severall & respective debts bonds bills goods estats wares
       Marchandizes Sums & quantitys of tobacco aforesaid as fully largely and amply in every respect as
       I myselfe might or Could doe if I hade beene personally p.rsents and Joyntly and severally upon
       receipt thereof accquittances and other discharges for mee and in my name to make seale & deliver
