782 (763 Perches to a branch of the said Courtis Creeke Called Cabbin Branch then bounded on the said branch lying west south west one hundred & sixty pches then north north west one hundred thirty & three pches Then west & by south one hundred & sixty phes to a Red oake marked with four Noches Then west north west ninety pches to a bounded hiccory Then North & by West one hundred & twenty pches to a bounded Chesnut Tree Then East & by North seaventy five pches to a bounded white oake Then North one hundred & sixty pches to a bounded white oake being a bounded tree of the Land formerly Laid out for Thomas Knighton Gentl Then East North East one hundred & Ten pches to a bounded hiccory standing near the head of a valley Then south south East Twenty pches Then East North East one hundred pches To a bounded Red oake being a bounded Tree of the said Moorelys Land Then w.th the s.d Moorelys Line south south east To the first bounded Tree containing & then laid out for seaven hundred Acres of Land More or less Together w.th all Rights profitts & benefitts thereunto belonging (Royall Mines Excepted) To have & To hold the same To him the s.d Jn.o Body his heirs & assigns for ever as by the s.d Recited Deed of Grant or Pattent Relation being thereunto had More at Large it doth & may appear Now This Indenture further witnesseth That the s.d Jn.o Body the sonn & sole heir of the s.d Cap.t Jn.o Body Marrino.r Decd unto whome the s.d Lands before menconed Depended & thereof is Rightfully seised & possessed As well for & in consid.racon of the full & Just sum of Fifty pounds of Lawfull sterl Money of England to him already paid & Delivered or sufficiently secured to be paid by the s.d Richard Welch the Receipt whereof The s.d Jn.o Body doth hereby acknowledge and therewith to be fully satisfyed & paid & thereof & of every p.t & pcell thereof of the s.d Richard Welch his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & assignes doth Acquit & Discharge for ever by the s.d p.rsents as also for divers other good Causes & Consid.racons him thereunto likewise & especially mooveing hath given granted bargained sold alienated enfeoffed & Confirmed And by these p.rsents doth for himself his heirs give grant bargain sell enfeoff & Confirm unto the said Richard Welch his heirs and Assigns forever one fully moyety or half of the s.d seaven hundred acres of Land Called Bodyes Adventure (being in two parts equally divided) That is to say That End p.t halfe or moiety next or adjoining to the said Land Called Moorelys Choice & a said Branch Called Curtis Creek Called Cabbin branch Together with all & singular the Trees woods & underwood now standing growing or being in and upon the same w.th all & singular Issues pfits Benefitts Comodities wayes passages Water Courses priviledges & appurtenances whatsoever To the s.d Moiety of the s.d seaven hundred Acres of Land belonging or in anywise appertaining And also all y.e Estate |
