77 Province of Maryland Gentl their true & Lawfull atturny and atturneys Joyntly & severally for them & in their names into the said Bargained premisses or any part thereof in the name of the whole to enter & quietly and peaceably possession for them & for their use to take & thereof quiett possession in their names and stead to him the said William Morgan his heirs & assignes to deliver to the use of him the said W.m Morgan his heirs or assignes according to the true purport and meaning of these Indentures In Wittnes whereof the parties above named (viz.t) John Anderson & Ellinor his wife have to these presents sett to their hands and fixed their seales the day and yeare first above written signed sealed and delivered & John Anderson sealed accknowledged in the p.rsence of her Will Stevens Ellenor VR Anderson sealed John White marke on the back side of the aforegoing deed was thus written viz.t May 30.th 1674 Memorandum that the within named John Anderson and Ellinor his wife acknowledged the within written deed to be their act & deed to the use within mentioned Charles Calvert This Indenture made the Eleventh Day of March in the first yeare of the Dominion of Charles Absolute Lord & Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.ca Annoq Domi one Thousand six hundred seventy and five Between William Guyther of the County of Saint Maries in the said Province Gentl one the one parte and Thomas Innes of the same County & Province Gent on the other part Wittnesseth that the said William Guyther for and in Consideration of the full and Just sume of three Thousand Eight hundred pounds of good sound Marchantable Tobacco in Caske to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Innes the Receipt whereof I doe hereby acknowledge and thereof and every part and parcell thereof doe hereby clearly and absolutely Exonerate acquitt & discharge him the said Thomas Innes his heirs Executors Adm.rs and assignes for ever by these presents hath given granted bargained aliened sold Enfeoffed & confirmed and doth by these presents give grant Bargain allien sell enfeoff & Confirme unto the said Thomas Innes his heirs and assignes for ever All that parcell of Land Called and Commonly knowne by the name of Joseph Edlowes Plantation formerly in the Occupation of Roger Sherling lyeing scituate and being in S.t Jeroms Creek in S.t Michaells Hundred in the County aforesaid Begining att a point by the Creeke side runing North till you come to a Cove and soe up the Cove till you come to a bound Chesnutt from thence forth till you come to a bound tree att the edge of the swamp and soe run away west to a bound Pine standing standing by the head of a Cove and laid out for fifty acres more or lesse And alsoe a parcell of land called Joseph Hackneys being joyning unto the said fifty acres Beginning att a Corner tree att the edge of the swamp and soe runing south till you come to the head of the Creeke ending and lyeing betwixt Henry Riders and the swamp att the head of hte Creek and laid out for twenty five acres more or lesse and alsoe the timber trees that are in the swamp betwixt Henry Riders path and the Dwelling house of the said Plantacon Together with all houses Edifices Orchards Gardens and all and singular the other appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertayning To have & to hold the said parcells of Land and the bargained Premisses to the said Thomas Innes his heirs and assignes for ever to the only |
