7 Full force & Effect & Execucon of the same & every of them shall be & Enure & shall be had taken reputed deemed adjudged & Construed to be & Enure to & for the only proper use & behoofe of the said Charles Boteler his heyres & Assignes for ever & to none other use intent or purpose whatsoever In wittness whereof the partyes first above named to these p.rsent Indentures their hands & seales interchangeably have sett & putt the day & yeare first above written Annoq Dm 1676 Alexander Younger sealed Sealed & delivered in the p.rsence of the mark of John Baker George Dunker Sarah S Younger sealed On the backside of the aforegoing Deed was written Viz.t Memd that the within named Sarah Younger the now wife of the within named Alexander Younger being secretly Examined out of the hearing of her said Husband doth Confesse that she doth freely & Voluntarily give upp all her right title Clayme & demand whatsoever of & in the within named parcell or tract of land & p.rmisses without the feare or threats of her said Husband In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the sixth day of Decemb.r Annog Dm 1676 Philip Calvert Maryland This Indenture made the seaventh day of Decemb.r in the second yeare of the Dominion of Charles Lord Baron of Baltemore & c over Maryland Annog Dom 1676 Betweene George Warner of Cæcil County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one part And John Baker of the Citty of S.t Maryes Innholder of the other part witnesseth that the said George Warner for & in Consideracon of the sume or quantity of tenn Thousand pounds of tobacco to him in hand paid by the said John Baker the receipt whereof he the said George Warner doth hereby Acknowledge And thereof Acquitt & discharge the said John Baker his heyres Exec.rs & Adm.rs by these p.rsents Hath Given Granted Bargained Sould Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these p.rsents doth Give Grant Bargaine Sell Enfeoffe & Confirme unto the said John Baker his heyres & Assignes for ever A parcell of land conteyning two hundred acres more or lesse lying in S.t Maryes County aforesaid on the South side of S.t Cleers Creeke being part of a Mannor formerly laid out for Cap.t W.m Haley deceased Together with all Rights profitts & benifitts thereunto belonging or in any wise apperteyning To have & to hold the aforesaid two hundred acres of land unto him the said John Baker his heyres & Assignes To his & their owne proper use & behoofe for ever And the said George Warner for himselfe his heyres Ex.rs & Admest.rs doth Covenant promise & Grant to & with the said John Baker his heyres & Assignes by these p.rsents That he the said John Baker his heyres & Assignes shall & may for ever hereafter peaceably & quietly have hold use occupy possesse & Enjoy the aforesaid parcell of land with the appurtennces without the lett suite trouble molestacon or Evicon of any person whatsoever lawfully clayming or pretending to have any Estate right title or Interest of in or to the aforesaid parcell of land or any part thereof from by or under him the said George Warner or Andrew Warner deceased or either of them And further that he the said Geo Warner his heyres Ex.rs or Adm.rs shall & will att any tyme hereafter att the reasonable request & att the proper cost & Charges of the said John Baker or his Assignes make doe suffer & Acknowledge such further & other lawfull Acts things & devices in the Law whatsoever for the further better & more sure Conveying assureing & suremakeing of the hereby bargained & sould land & p.rmisses unto the said John Baker his heyres & Assignes for ever and to the said John Baker or his Councell learned in the Law shall be reasonably |
