(695 686 This Indenture made the First day of May In the year of Our Lord One thousand six hundred Ninety and foure Between Ignatius Craycroft of Calvert County in the Province of Maryland Gent and Sophia his wife sole Daughter and heir of He^n^ry Beedle late of Ann Arrundell County Gent deceased on the one part and Peter Sayer of Talbot County Gent on the other part Witnesseth That whereas the R.t Hon.ble Cecilius Lord Baron of Baltemore then Lord and proprietary of this Province of Maryland by patent under his great seale bearing date the third day of February Anno Dom 1685 1658 For the Condition ^Consideration^ therein mentioned did grant unto John Russell his heires and Assignes All that parcell of Land called Russendall lying on the Eastern shore and on the east side of a River called running southeast out of the Bay called S.t Michaells River and on the east side of a Creeke in the said River called Morgans Creeke next adjoyning to the Land late laid out for Henry Morgan begining at the said Morgans bounded pockicory by the Creeke side running west by the said Morgans bounden Line for breadth one hundred perches to the said Morgans marked pine by the river soe bounding on the west by a line drawne North and by east from the said pine Foure hundred perches by the River and bay side to a Creeke called Russells Creeke to a marked Chestnut tree on the north by a line drawne East from the said Chesttnut tree into Morgans Creeke on the East by the said Creeke on the south by the said Land Conteyning and then laid out for two hundred acres and Fifty acres bee it more or less Together with all proffitts rights and benefitts thereunto belonging (Royall mines excepted) To hold the same to him the said John Russell and his heires for ever as by the same Lres patents relation being thereunto had more at large may appeare And whereas the said John Russell in or about the year 1660 made his last will & testament and thereof made his then wife Julian his sole executrix and therein gave the said Land called Russendall to her and her heires who afterwards intermarried with William Coursey late of Talbot County Gent deceased and whereas the said William Coursey and Julian his wife by their Indenture of grant bargaine & sale bearing date the second day of June 1673 by the names of William Coursey of Talbot County in the said Province of Maryland Gent and Julian his then wife Relict and Executrix of the last will and testament of her late husband John Russell late of Kent County Gent deceased for the Consideration therein mentioned Did give grant bargaine sell assigne sett over allienate and Confirm unto Henrey Beedle of Herring Creeke in the County of Anne Arrundell the naturall and Lawfull sonne of the said Julian All that the before mentioned land called Russendall Conteyning two hundred and Fifty acres more or lesse with all and every the apptenances thereunto belonging To hold to him the said Henry Beedle his heires and assignes for ever under such rents and services as in and by the aforesaid patent is mentioned and reserved And further whereas the said Cecilius Lord Baltemore proprietary aforesaid by other Lres patents under the (said |
