       To all People to whome these p.rsents shall come I Stephen Horsi of
       the County of Somersett in the province of Maryland gent send greeting
       in our Lord God Everlasting Know ye that whereas Cæcilius absolute
       Lord Proprietor of the provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
       Baltemore &c by his pattent under the great seale of this province
       bearing date the seaventh day of August in the six and thirtieth Yeare
       of his Dominion over this province Anno Dom One thousand six hundred
       Sixty Seaven Did grant unto me the said Stephen Horsi by the name of
       Stephen Horsi of Som.rsett County gent a pcell of Land called Horsis Baliwick
       Lyeing in Som.rsett County on the South side of Tomacktico River begining at y.e
       Mouth of a Small Gulf Called Cowasike divideing it from the Land of Robert
       Ingram thence running North East by the River Side to a marked
       pyne standing by the river side above little Tomartico thence
       running South East to the Land of Richard Bennett thence running
       South West To the Land of Robert Ingram with a Line
       drawne Northwest to the first Bounder Containing and Laid
       out for five hundred acres More or lesse Together w.th all
       Rights proffitts and benifitts thereunto belonging Royall
       Mines Excepted To Have & to Hold the same to me Stephen
       Horsi mine heires and assignes for ever for and under the rents reservacons
       and services herein referenced by the said Recorded Pattent recourse being
       thereunto had more fully and more at large it may and doth appeare
       Now Know yee further that I Stephen Horsi for a valluable Consideracon
       in bond paid by Edward Southrin of the County and province
       aforesaid the receipt whereof wee doe hereby acknowledge and thereof
       and of every part ^& parcell^ thereof doe clearely and absolutely acquitt and discharge
       the said Edward Southrin his Exec.rs and assignes for ever by these p.rsents
       Provided the said Edward Southrin pay or cause to be payd the Rent due
       to the Lord Proprietor cost and charges for the allienating the said Land
       Have given granted bargained sould and doe by these p.rsents give
       grant alienate bargaine and sell unto him the said Edward Southrin
       his heires and assignes for Ever all that the Said dividend or part of Land     
       soe to mee granted as aforesaid with all the proffitts privillidges pattents writeings
       Commodities and heradittaments to the same belonging or in any wise
       with all and every the appurtenances to him the said Edward Southrin his heires
       and assignes for ever to the onely use and behoof of him his heires & assignes
       for ever To bee holden of the said Lord proprietor for and under the rents and
       Services by the said orriginall recited pattent reserved and I the said Stephen
       Horsi the said dividend or tract of Land with the appartinances before by these
       presents bargained and sould or hereby intended to be so bargained and sould unto him
       the said Edward Southrin Doe for ever freely acquitt and discharge the same of
       and from all and all manner of former & other bargaines grants sales forfeitures
       surrend.rs and of and from all other titles incumbrances Claimes and demands
       of us or either of us our or either of our Heires Executo.rs Adm.rs or assignes
       & against all and every of the person and psons whatsoever claiming from
       by or under the said Stephen Horsi shall and will for ever hereafter warrant
       and defend by these presents In witnesse whereof the said Stephen Horsi
       doe hereunto sett his hand and seale This twenty ninth day of September
       Anno Domini One Thousand six hundred sixty eight (Stephen Horsi sealed)
Signed Sealed and deliv.rd in y.e p.rsence of us      This is acknowledged in open Court by Stephen Horsi as a Co.rt
