686 (676 676 for one hundred Acres more or less Together with a house or dwelling houses tobacco houses orchards gardens stables barnes timber and timber trees woods underwoods ways easments profitts Comodittys and appartenances patents deeds evidences & writings to the tract or any part thereof belonging or in any wise appertayning To have and to hold the said Tract of land and [illegible] the premisses hereby bargained and sold and every part thereof and parcell thereof unto the said Robert Mason his heires and Assignes To the onely proper use and behoofe of the said Robert Mason his heires and Assignes for ever To be holden of the Cheif Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees of the prmisses by the rents and services therefore due and of right accustomed And the said William Taylard for him his heires Execurs & Admrs doth covenant grant and agree to and with the said Robert Mason his heires and Assignes by these p.rsents That the said William Taylard the said p.rmisses ag.t all psons shall defend by these p.rsents And that he the said William Taylard at the time of the ensealing hereof hath in himselfe full power & lawfull ^&^ absolute authority to grant & convey the said Land houses and premisses to the said Robert Mason & his heires in mannor and forme aforesaid And Also that he the said Robert Mason his heires and Assignes shall and may from henceforth for ever hereafter peaceably and quyetly have hold occupy possess and enjoy the said Land and houses with the appurtenances free and cleare and freely and clearly acquitted exonerated and discharged or otherwise well and sufficiently saved kept harmless & indempnified of and from all & all manner of former and other bargaines sales guifts grants titles troubles debts charges and encumbrances whatsoever (The quit rent from henceforth to become due onely excepted) And further that the said William Taylard & his heires and all clayming any estate in or to the p.rmisses shall and will at the request and costs and charges of the said Robert Mason his heires or Assignes make and graunt unto him or them such further and other assureance or assureances in the Law of the aforesaid p.rmisses As by the said Robert Mason his heires or Assignes or his or their Councell Learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised or advised and required All which further assureances shall be & inure and shall be deemed adjudged construed & taken to be & inore To the onely proper use & behoofe of the said Robert Mason his heirs & Assignes and to and for none other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Pties aforesaid to these Indentures Interchangeably have putt their hands & seales The day & year first above written Sealed and delivered in the presence of W Taylard Peter Dent Memorandum that this day To Witt the Fifteenth day Henry Wriothesley of May Anno Dom 1694 Came William Taylard Tho Burford before us John Addison & John Watson Esq.rs Two of their Majestys Justices of the Provintiall Court & acknowledged the within mentioned to the within named Robert Mason according to an Act of Assembly in that case made and provided Cap.a & Cognitte & Anno sup.re Corom nobis Recorded 30.o Aug.st 1694 John Addison Jo Watson Henry Wriothesley Clk |
