64 Noneruit unversi p p.rsentes me Johem Addison de secuto Georgio in Court scante maris in fra Maryland mercatorem Teneri et firmineter obligari Thomas Addison de White haven in Covit Cumbris Generes in trecent libus bone et legtis monet Angl Soluend ord Thomas Addison ail suo certo Attornato Executor Administrator wel Assign suis ad quum quidud Solucornm bene et fideliter faciend obligo me hered Executor et administraneos firmiter p p.rsents sigillo mee sigillat Dat decimo octano die Septembris Anno Regni Domi Carol Secdi Dei Frad Angl Scot Francis & Hibus Regis fidci Defenser &c Vicesimo nono Annow Domimi one thousand six hundred seaventy seaven The Condicon of this obligacon is such that if the above bounden John Addison his Executors or Administrators doe & shall well & truly observe performe fullfill accomplish & keep all & singular the Covenants Grants Articles Clauses & Agreem.ts whatsoever which are on his or their parts & behalfe to be observed pformed fullfiled accomplished & kept Comprized or menconed in Certaine Articles of agreem.t indented bearing Even date with these presents & made between the said John Addison of the one part And the said Thomas Addison of the other part according to the true Intent & meaneing of the same Then this p.rsent obligacon to be void otherwise to be in full force & Virtue Sealed & delivered in the p.rsence of John Addison sealed Richard Windall Christopher Aglionby James Hodgson Thomas Warmingham Sumuell Fazakerly Know all men by these p.rsents that I Richard Mitchell marchant for certaine good causes & Consideracons are thereunto moveing hence & doe hereby name make ordaine appoint & in my stead & place put Constitute my trusty & loveing friend John Dalton of the Citty of S.t Maryes in the Province of Maryland to be my true & lawfull Attorney & assignee for me & in my name & to my use to aske claime demand recover take & Receive of & from any person or persons within the Province aforesaid all such Sum or Sums of Tobacco owing to me from any manner of person or persons within the Province aforesaid by bill accompt or any other Lawfull writeing whatsoever Giveing & by these p.rsents Granting unto my said Attorney all my plenary Authority & Lawfull power for Recovery & Receipt of any sum or sums of Tobacco owing to me as aforesaid with the Province aforesaid or any part thereof as fully & effectually as the Laws & Customes of the Province aforesaid will permitt & suffer at I my selfe might doe bring personally present & to take order Compound & Conclude & agree of & in the premisses And upon any Recovery composition or other agreement to signe seale & execute acqutitances or any other releases or discharges for me & in my name And Attorney or Attorneys under him to make substitute & againe att his pleasure to Revoke Holding & allowing for firme & effectuall to all intents & purposes all & whatsoever my said Attorney or his substitutes or assignes shall Lawfully doe or cause to be done in or about the premisses by Virtue hereof In Wittnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale this third day of May in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred seaventy eight his Sealed & delivered in the presence of Richard R Mitchell locus sigilli signum marke Daniel X Clocker James Cullen June the 18 1678 Then came before me James Cullen one of the wittnesses to the within writt^en^ Letter of Attorney & made oath the sume was sealed & delivered by Richard Mitchell as his act & deed for the use therein specified take us before me Will Calvert |
