63 Maryland fs Know All men by these presents that I Richard Windall of Liverpoole in the Kingdom of England Marriner am holden & firmly bound unto John Addison of S.t Maries County in the Province of Maryland aforesaid Marchant in the full & Just sume of two hundred thirty and Three pounds six shillings and Eight pence of Lawfull money of England to be paid to the said John Addison or to his Certaine Attorney his heires Executors Adm.rs or assignes to the which payment well and truly to be made I bind my selfe my heires Executors & administrators firmly by these presents sealed with my seale dated the Third day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand six hundred seventy and Eight The Condicon of this obligacon is such that if the above bounden Richard Windall his heires Execut.rs Administrators or assignes shall well and truely pay or cause to be paid unto the said John Addison or to his Certain attorney his heires Executors administrators or assignes att the Towne of Liverpoole in the Kingdom of England aforesaid att or before the last day of July next ensueing the date of these presents the full and Just sume of one hundred sixteene pounds thirteene shillings and four pence of Lawfull money of England without fraud or delay then this present obligation to be voyd and of none Effect otherwise to stand Remaine and be in full force power and vertue Sealed & delivered in the presence Richard Windall sealed of us Christo Aglionby under the above bond was thus written viz.t June the 12.th 1678 John Walls The above bond was then proved by the oath of Christopher Aglionby to be the act & W.m Benn deed of Richard Windall Abraham Goalle Will Calvert Nonerint min.rsi per p.rsentes me Johanu Addison de Sccucto George in Covit scuicte Mariæ in fra Provincia Maryland Marcatorenteueri et firuiter obligari Thoure Thomas Addison de White haven in Covit Cumbrie Generoso in Quingent libris boue et legalis mouete Anglie Soluend ordin Thomas Addison and sue certo Attornat Executoribus Administrat vel Assign suis Ad quum quidud solureud boue et fideliter fuciend obligo me hereo Executores et Administratores ineos et eorum quemlibet firmiter per p.rsentes sigillo meo sigillat dut decimo nono die Septembris Anno Regnu Dom wis Caroli secuindi mine Regis Anglie & vicesimo nono Annoq Dom mittims sexcentescimo septuagissimo septuno That Condicon of the above written Obligacon is such That if the above bounden John Addison his heires Executo.rs or Administrato.rs doe & shall well & truly pay & deliver or cause to be paid & delivered unto the said Thomas Addison his heires Executors Administrators Assignes or Attorney in that behalfe the full & Just Quantity or Number of Seaventy thousand & Nine hundred pounds weight neat good sound & Marchantabel leafe Tobacco & Caske according to the Custome in Maryland aforesaid upon the River of S.t Maryes aforesaid or other convenient place or places in Maryland where Shipes or Sloopes may conveniently & safely take in the same att or before the tenth day of October which shall be in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred seaventy Eight with any fraud Covin Colour or deceit in any wise that then this p.rsent obligacon shall be void & of none effect or else shall be & remaine in full force power & virtue in the Law sealed & delivered in the p.rsence of John Addison sealed Richard Windall Christopher Aglionby James Hodgson Thomas Warmingham Ita test Samuel Fazakerly No.tus publicus Liverpoole Proved by the Oath of Richard Windall this Seaventh day of May one thousand six hundred and forty eight that the within bond was sealed & delivered to Thomas Addison by John Addison the obliged as his Act & Deed Philip Calvert |
