636 (626 This Indenture Made the first day of October Annoq.r Dom one thousand Six Hundred Ninety and towe Betweene William Edwin of Kent County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one Part and Daniell Bell of S.t Maryes Co^u^nty in the Province of Maryland Planter on the other part Witnesseth that the Said William Edwin for and in Consideracon of the sume of five thousand three hundred pounds of Tobacco to him in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these p.rsents The receipt whereof hee doth acknowledge & doth Clearly acquitt exonerate and discharge the said Daniell Bell his heires Executors Adm.rs and assignes of every part and parcell thereof in consideracon whereof the said William Edwin hath given granted bargained sould aliened enfeofed & confirmed and by these p.rsents doth give grant bargained sell alien enfeofe and confirme unto the said Daniell Bell his heires and Assignes for ever all that Plantacon Tract or parcell of land called S.t Williams lyeing in S.t Maryes County situate one the west side of S.t Georges River bounding on the south with the said River on the East with a Creek called Coopers Creek on the west with Parkers Creek on the North with a line drawn west from the head of Coopers Creek untill it fall into Packers Creeke containing and laid out for fifty Acres more or less according to Pattent beareing date the twentieth day of December one thousand six hundred and fifty eight with all houses edifices buildings and appurtenances whatsoever unto the said land belonging or of right appertayning to have and to hold to him the said Daniell Bell his heires and Assignes to the onely p.rper use and behoofe of him the said Daniell Bell his heires and Assignes for ever and the said William Edwin his heires Executors Administrato.rs & Assignes doth Covent grant and agree to and with the said Daniell Bell his heires Executors Administrato.rs and Assignes that the aforesaid Plantacon or Tract of land with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or right apperteyning shall quietly hold occupy possesse & Enjoy without any lett trouble or Molestacon from him the said William his heires Execut.rs Administrators or Assignes or any other parson or parsons whatsoever and will forever warrant and defend the same from all manner of Gifts grants bargaines sailes or Incumbrances what whatsoever only the rent which shall become due to the Lord of the fee excepted and foreprized and the said William Edwin his heires and Assignes shall and will from time to time or at any time hereafter within the space of Seaven yeares next ensueing the Date of these presents at and upon the reasonable request & at the Cost and Charges of him the said Daniell Bell shall and will Make such further Assureance or Assurances Conveyance or Convayances as by the said Daniell Bell or his Councill learned in the law shall bee reasonably devised advised or required In Wittness whereof the said parties to their present Indentures interchangeably have putt their hands and seales the Day and yeare first above Written Sealed and delivered William Edwin (seale) in the presence of Endorsed on the backside thereof as follow vizt Philip Clarke S.t Marys fs 1 Oct 1692 Then Came the within named William John Spratt Edwin before Us and did acknowledge that the within Indenture to the Charles Tilden within named Daniel Bell to be his Act and Deed and that hee did seale signe and deliver the same unto the said Daniel Bell Jurat Cora not Ne.a Blakiston Nich.o Greenberry |
