612 (602 or any p.rson or p.rsons Lawfully claimeing by from or under him them or any of them saveing onely and Reserving the Rents and services due to the of the fee for the same from henceforth to be satisfyed and paid by the sd Lionel Copley his Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assignes In Witness whereof the parties to these p.rsent Indenture have Interchangeably sett their hands & seales the day and yeare first above written Sealed & Delivered in the W.m Digges (sealed) p.rsence of us George Plater S Watkins on the Backside of the aforegoeing Deed was thus written Nicholas Sewall John Llewellin The Within written Deed acknowledled by the within named Coll W.m Digges the 8.th day of March Anno Domini 1692 to be his Act & Deed to the within mentioned Lionel Copley Esq.r and the Mill Land and p.rmisses therein named to be right title interest and prop.rty of the sd Lionel Copley to him his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes dureing and [illegible] the full end and tearme mentioned this acknowledgement made in due forme according to law before us Nehemiah Blakiston Esq.r and Thomas Tench Esq.r Two of theire Maj.ties Council and Justices of the Provinciall Court of the sd Province this 8.th day of March Anno Domini 1692 Int.r 10.th March 1692 Ne.a Blakiston Thomas Tench Maryland fs Know all men by these p.rsents that I William Digges late of the Province of Maryland & Now of the Colony of Virginia Esq.r have made assigned ordained constituted and appointed and in my place and stead by these p.rsents doe make assigne constitute ordaine and appoynt my trusty and well beloved freind John Llewellin of the afsd Province of Maryland Gent to be my true and Lawfull Attorney for me and in my name and to my use to aske demand sue for levy require recover and receive of all and every p.rson and p.rsons whatsoever within the sd Province all and all manner of debt and debts sume & sumes of mony & tobacco whether the same be due to me either by bill bond accounts rents for lands or by any other wayes or meanes whatsoever and further I doe hereby authorize and empower the sd John Llewellin for me and in my name to sell grant make over and convey to any p.rson whatsoever agreing and paying for the same such consideracon as shall be by my sd attorney and such p.rson purchaser agreed upon Two certain tracts of Land Lyeing in S.t Maryes County in the sd Province the one called Denbigh Two hundred & Fifty Acres the other called S.t Barbera Two hundred & Fifty acres as by the Pattents may appeare hereby obligeing my selfe my heires Ex.rs & Adm.rs to ratifye confirme & make the afsd sale & conveyance to be good & sufficient in law to the afsd purchaser at his request I doe alsoe further hereby give and grant unto my sd attorney my full power and authority to pay disburse and discount such debt & debts of myne as he shall receive on my sole & proper account to my best advantage as my said attorney shall think fitt and convenient Giveing and hereby granting unto my sd Attorney my full whole power strength & authority in & about the p.rmisses and upon receipt of any my debts rents sume & sumes of mony or tobacco afsd acquittances or other discharges for me and in my name to make seale & deliver and all and every |
