397 (388 Joseph Low of S.t Maryes County desired the Marke of his Cattell & Hoggs to be Recorded as followeth July 30.th 1686 The Right year upper keeled & holed the left year under keeled & Cropt This Indenture made the fifth Day of Aprill in the Eleaventh year of the Dominion of the Right Hono.ble Charles Absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c.a Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred Eighty six Betweene Richard Keene of Patuxant in the County of Calvert in the Province of Maryland Inholder and Mary his wife of the one part and Henry Lowe of the County aforesaid Gent of the other part Witneseth that the said Richard Keene and Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the sume of forty thousand pounds of tobbaccoe to them in hand paid by the said Henry Lowe before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said Richard Keene and Mary his wife doe hereby acknowledge and thereof and of Every part and parcell thereof doe clearly and Absolutely acquit Exonerate and Discharge him the said Henry Lowe his Executors and Adm.rs by these presents and for divers other good Causes and Valluable Considerations them thereunto moveing Have given granted Aliened Bargained and sold and by these presents doe give granted Alien bargaine sell Enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said Henry Lowe his heirs and Assignes for ever all that tract parcell or Devident of Land called Spry Hill lyeing on the East side of Chessepeake Bay on the North side of a River in the said Bay called Sasafrax River next adjoyning to the Land formerly called Harmars branch att a marked Chesnut tree standing upon the side Hill near to the mouth of a Creeke called Spryes Creeke runing for breadth by the said Land and River South East [three hundred and twenty perches on the north by a line drawne North west] and by East three hundred perches to a marked Oake by the River side bounding on the East by a line drawne North and by west for length three hundred and twenty perches on the north by a line drawne North west and by west from the end of the North ^& by^ West line untill it Intersects a paralell drawn from Spryes Creeke on the West with the said Creeke on the South with the said River Conteyning and heretofore laid out for six hundred Acres more or lesse And alsoe all that other parcell of Land called Mount Harmer lyeing on the East side of Chessepeake Bay ^and on the north side of a River in the said Bay called^ called Sassafrax River near unto the Land formerly laid out for Axell Still Begining on the East side of a Branch called Axell's Branch and runing South East up the River for breadth one hundred perches to a Branch called Harmers Branch bounding by the said Branch runing ^called^ North North East up the Branch for length three hundred and twenty perches on the North by a line drawne Northwest from the end of the North East line North East line untill it Intersect a paralell (drawn |
