389 (380 to and for the only and proper use and behoofe of the said William Burgesse his heirs and Assignes for ever and to and for none other use intent and purpose whatsoever In Witnesse whereof the parties first above named to these present Indentures their hands and seals interchangably have sett and put the day and year first above writen Annoq Domini 1686 Vincent Lowe sealed Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presence of Henry Hanslap Geo Parker Memorand That the within written Indenture with the Lands and premises therein mentioned was before us the thirtieth day of Aprill in the year of Our Lord God One thousand six hundred Eighty six Acknowledged by the within named Vincent Lowe to be the right of the said William Burgesse his heires and Assignes for ever and att the same day and time came Elizabeth Lowe the wife of the said Vincent Lowe who being secretly Examined out of the hearing of her said husband did freely clearly and Voluntarily Confesse that she did give up all and singular her right title Dowry Claime and Demand whatsoever of and in the within mentioned Land ^& premises^ without any fear threats or Displeasure of her said Husband In testimony whereof wee have hereunto subscribed our hands and names the day and year first above written Annoq Domini 1686 W.m Digges May 5.th 1686 Nicholas Sewall Then received of the Hon.ble Coll William Digges Burgesse and for the accompt of the Right Hon.ble Charles Lord Baltemore Lord Prop.ry the iust sume of four pound four shillings sterling for the alienation of the within mentioned two tracts of Land I say receaved by me Henry Darnall Recorded the 16.th day of June 1686 p Jam Heath Cl |
