       Know all men by these p.rsents That I Daniel Pensax of London Marryner
       am holden and firmly bound unto Edmond Howard of Sumersett County
       Gent The fully quantity of Twenty Eight Thousand pounds of good sound
       Merchantable Tobacco in Caske to be paid to the said Edmond Howard or to
       his certaine Attorney his Exe.rs Administra.rs or Assignes To the which payment
       well and truly to be made I bind my self my Heires Exe.rs & Admistra.rs
       firmly by these p.rsents sealed with my seal and dated the &&.th day of Novemb
       In the year of our Lord God one Thousand six hundred Eighty &

       The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounden Daniel
       Pensax his Heires Exe.rs Admistra.rs & every of them doe and shall from time
       to time and att all times hereafter well & truly observe perform fullfill
       & keep all and singular the Articles Clauses Covenants Provisoes and
       Agreements which on his and their part are and ought to be observed
       performed fullfilled & kept mentioned and comprised in our certaine Indenture
       bearing even date herewith purporting the sale of a parcell of Land
       called Clyncath made between the above bounden Daniel Pensax & the sd
       Edmond Howard That then this Obligation to be voyd and of none Effect
       or else to stand and remain in full force & vertue

       Robert Lee                     Then came before me Robert Lee one of the witnesses to
                                              the abovebond and made oath upon the Holy Evangelists
