       & with the said line to the end therof & from the said Hickery North to a bounded Ash in a
       branch standing att the head of Roads Creeke and from thence to an Oake bounded with
       two Notches and from thence West South West to the end of the said land called Wats
       Neck laid Out for One hundred Acres more or lesse together with all & singular other the
       p.rmises to the said parcell of land belonging or in any Wise apperteyning To have
       and to hold the said tract or parcell of land and all other the before bargained premises
       unto him the said Richard Ridgel his Heires & assignes for ever Provided alwaies that the
       said Richard Ridgel his Heires and Assignes Do & Shall well & truly pay or cause to be
       paid unto the said Elias Nuthall & Elizabeth his wife the yearly rent of One bushell of
       Indian sheld Corn every year yearly at the feast of the Nativity of Our Lord Christ for
       ever upon the said land calld Wats neck And the said Elias Nuthall & Elizabeth his
       wife for themselves their Execut.rs Administrat.rs and Assignes Do & shall hereby warant &
       defend the sale of the said land to be good ag.t all lawfull Claimers Whatsoever In
       Wittness whereof The Said Elias Nuthall & Elizabeth his wife have hereunto sett
       their hands & seales the Day & Year first above written

       Underneath the foregoeing deed was thus written
   
       May the 10.th 1688  This day came before me Elias Nuthall & Elizabeth his wife &
       acknowledged the above written Indenture to be their own act & deed

       January the 3.d 1683 Receav'd of the within named Richard Ridgell the sume of
       four shillings being due to me for the alienation of One hundred Acres of land within
       mentioned                                    By                           C C Baltemore


          This Indenture Made this One & thirtieth day of March In the eighth Yeare of the
       Dominion of the Right Hono.ble Charles absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland
       and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c Annoq Domj One thousand six hundred eighty &
       three Between John Edmondson of Talbott County in the province of Maryland
       aforesaid Merchant of the One part & Thomas Cleverly of Calvert County in the
       province aforesaid Shoomaker of the Other party Wittnesseth that the said John Edmundson
       for & in Consideration of the sume of two hundred & fifty pounds of good & lawfull
       money of England to him in hand paid by the aforesaid Thomas Cleverly before the
