       This Indenture made the Twelfth day of January in the Year of our Lord Christ
       One Thousand six hundred Eighty Two Between Robert Wright of Calvert County in the
       Province of Maryland Planter of the One part And John Evans of the County & Province aforesaid
       Carpenter of the other part Whereas the said Robert Wright by Letters Patent under the Great Seal
       of the said Province of Maryland bearing date the Four & twentieth day of April in the Five &
       thirtieth Year of the Dominion of the Rt hon.ble Cæcilius &c.a The Then Lord Prop.ry &c.a Annoq
       Dm 1667 had granted unto him a parcel of Land for One hundred and Fifty acres called
       Wrights Guift scituate butted & bounded as in the said Pattent is exprest And whereas
       also the said Robert Wright by other Letters Patent bearing date the first day of May in the
       six and Thirtieth year of the Dom of the said Cæcilius &c.a had granted unto him another
       parcel of Land for Three hundred acres called Ishmaels Right according to the butts and
       bounds mentioned in the said Patent Which said Two Tracts of Land are said by the said
       Patent to lye (adjoyning to one another) in Calvert County aforesaid Now this Indenture
       witnesseth that the said Robert Wright For and in Consideracon of the full sume or Quantity of
       six thousand pounds of Tobacco to him the said Robert Wright well & truly in hand paid the
       Receipt whereof the said Robert doth hereby acknowledge and therewith to be fully satisfied Contented
       and paid and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof doth cleerly acquit & discharge the
       said John Evans his heirs Execut.rs & Adm.rs for ever by these p.rsents He the said Robert Wright
       Hath granted bargained sold & confirmed and by these p.rsents doth fully cleerly and
       absolutely grant bargaine sell & Confirm unto the said John Evans his heirs & Assignes
       for ever All these Two several Tracts of One hundred & Fifty and Three hundred acres
       of Land before mentioned called Wrights Guift & Ishmaels Right with all & singular the
       Rights members and appurtenances to the said p.rmisses or any part or parcel thereof
       belonging or in any wise appertaining and also all the Estate Right title & interest of him the
       said Rober Wright of in & to the same and all Patents Deed writings & evidences touching
       & concerning the p.rmises or any parcel of them To have & to hold the said Two several
       Tracts of Land before mentioned to be hereby granted bargained & sold and all other
       the p.rmisses with the appurtenances unto him the said John Evans his heirs & Assignes
       to the only proper use & behoofe of him the said John Evans his heirs & Assignes for ever
       And the said Robert Wright for himself his heirs Ext.rs & Adm.rs the said bargained
       p.rmises to the only proper use & behoofe of him the said John Evans his heirs & Assignes
       for ever will warrant & defend of & from all Claimers whatsoever And the said
       Robert Wright doth further Covenant for himself his heires Execut.rs & Adm.rs That he
       the said Robert Wright his heirs Ext.rs and Adm.rs shall & will at all time & times
       hereafter make do performe & execute or cause to be made done performed & executed
       such further & other act & acts Conveyances & assurances in the Law for the more perfect
       assuring & Conveying the said p.rmises unto him the said John Evans his heirs and
       Assignes as the said John Evans his heirs Exet.rs or Adm.rs shall require by any way
       or means whatsoever that the Law shall require And that he the said Robert Wright  
       at the time of the sealing & delivery hereof hath in himself a good pure perfect and
       absolute Estate of Inheritance in fee simple of in & to the said p.rmises and that he
       hath good right full power & lawfull authority to sell & dispose of the same and every
