255 (245 Endorsed on the backside of the aforegoeing Deed viz.t Memorand That upon the Twentyeth day of December Annoq.r Dm One thousand six hundred Eighty and Two Before Us Thomas Tailler and William Burges two of the Justices of the Provinciall Court of the Province of Maryland Came the within named George Yate and did acknowledge the within written Deed to be his Act and Deed And the within menconed lands therein bargained are the right of the within named Henry Brent and his heires for ever also att the same day and time came Mary the wife of the within named George Yate and declared that she gave her consent to the sale of the within menconed bargained lands and p.rmisses freely and voluntaryly and willingly without any force or fear of the displeasure of her said husband and that she did fully cleerly and absolutely acquitt and release the said lands and p.rmisses of all claime of her title of Dower and of all other right or demand of in or to the same for ever Taken before us the day and yeare aforesaid Tho Tailler William Burges Knowe all men by these p.rsents that I George Yate of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Gent am held and firmely bound to Henry Brent of Calvert County in the same Province Gent in the full and iust sume of Sixteene thousand pounds of good sound Merchantable leave tobacco in Casq.r to be payd to the said Henry Brent or to his certaine Attorny Exec.rs Adm.rs or Assignes To the w.ch payment well and truely to be made and done I bind my selfe my heires Exec.rs and Adm.rs firmely by these p.rsents In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale dated the Nineteenth day of December in the Eighth yeare of the Dominion of the Right Honble Charles Lord Baltemore and in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hundred Eighty and Two The condicon of the above written Obligacon is such that if the above bounden Georg Yate his heires Exec.rs and Adm.rs and every of them Doe and shall from time to time and at all times hereafter well and truely observe pforme fullfill and keep all and singular the Covenants grants Articles clauses and agreem.ts menconed contained and expressed in our certaine Indenture of Bargaine and sale or Deed made betweene the above bounden George Yate of the one part and the above named Henry Brent of the other part bearing ^even^ date with these p.rsents which on the part and behalfe of the said George Yate his heires Executo.rs and Adm.rs are and ought to be observed performed fullfilled done and kept and that in all and by all things according to the true intent and meaning of the said recited Indenture respectlyly in all poynts and Condicons That then this ^p.rsent^ Obligacon above written to by voyd and of none Effect Otherwise to stand and remaine in full force and Vertue Geo Yate (sealed) Signed sealed and delivered in the p.rsence of Tho Tailler Will.m Burges This Indenture made the three and Twentyeth day of March in the Seaventh yeare of the Dominion of the Right Honble Charles absolute Lord and Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c And in the year of our Lord God One thousand six hundred Eighty and one Betweene Richard Johns of the Clifts in the County of Calvert (in |
