243 (233 All that Lott or parcell of ground to the said Court house belonging as the same is now layd out limitted and bounded (that is to say begining att a locust post standing by the street side att the South end of the Corner lott of the East Streete and runing for length Two hundred Foote to another Locust post bounding on the East by a line drawne South One hundred foot to another locust post bounding on the South with a line Drawne West Two hundred foot to another Locust post bounding on the west by a line drawne North one hundred foot to the first named post bounding on the West by the said street containing in all (be the same more or less) which Said Court house prison and parcell of land are scituate lyeing and being in the Towne of New Yarmouth in the said County of Kent with all & singular Rights priviledges and appurtences then to belong in or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Court house Prison and parcell of land w.th the appurtences unto the said Charles Lord Baltemore his heires & Assignes for Ever To the use intent and purpose herein after menconed and expressed that is to say To the use and behoofe of his Lopps Justices of the peace for the said County of Kent successively to be by them used occupyed and imployed (as a house and place of Justice and Judicature and not otherwise And the said James Ringgold for himself his heires and assignes doth Covenant and Grant to and with the said Charles Lord Baltemore his heires and Successo.rs That it shall and may be lawfull to and for the said Charles Lord Baltemore his heires and Successors from time to time and att all times hereafter quietly and peaceably to hold and Ejoy the said Court house & Prison and other the p.rmisses with the appurtences without the lett trouble or interrupcon of him the said James Ringgold his heires or Assignes or any other person or persons whatsoever clayming by from or under him them or any of them And that the said Charles Lord Baltemore his heires and Successo.rs and every of them shall and may att all times for Ever hereafter stand and be seized of the said Court house Prison and parcell of land to the use intent and purpose herein before mentioned and declared and to noe other use inten or purpose whatsoever In witness whereof the said James Ringgold to this p.rsent Indenture hath putt his hand and Seale the day and yeare first above written Sealed and delivered in the Cornelius Comegÿs James Ringgold (sealed) p.rsence of W.m Laurence John Hynson Nath Evett Elias King D Clk Philip Connor Come Kent This Indenture made the sixth day of March in the seaventh year of the Dominion of Charles absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c Annoq.r Dm One thousand six hundred Eighty and one Between Philip Calvert of S.t Marys County in the Province of Maryland Esq.r and Jane his wife of the one party and John Pitt of Talbott County in the same Province Planter of the other party Witnesseth that the said Philip Calvert & Jane his wife for and in Consideracon of the sume of Fower store pounds of lawfull mony of England to them in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these p.rsents by the said John Pitt whereof the said Philip Calvert & Jane his wife doe acknowledge the Receipt and thereof & of every part and parcell thereof doe cleerly acquitt and discharge the said John Pitt his heires and Assignes & every of them for ever by these p.rsents Hath Given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed & confirmed and by these p.rsents doth Give grant bargaine sell alien enfeoffe & confirme unto the said John Pitt his heires & Assignes for Ever All that parcell of Land |
