227 (217 wife their heires Executo.rs and Administrato.rs shall and will att any time hereafter make doe suffer and acknowledge or cause to be made done suffered and acknowledged all such further and other reasonable And lawfull Acts things and desires in the law att the proper costs and charges of the said Ninian Beale his Executo.rs and Administrato.rs whatsoever for the further better and more sure conveying assureing and suremakeing of the lands and p.rmisses hereby granted bargained and sold unto the said Ninian Beale his heires and Assignes for Ever as to the said Ninian Beale his heires or Assignes or his or their Councell learned in the law shall seeme meet In witness whereof the said Isaac Foxcroft and Bridgett his wife have hereunto sett their hands and seals the day and year first above written Isaac Foxcroft (sealed) Signed sealed and delivered in the p.rsence of us Bridgett Foxcroft (sealed) Hum Gwyn W.m Anderson Matth Scarbrough Endorsed on the back side of the aforegoing Conveyance viz.t Memorandum that this day to witt the Twenty & seaventh day of July and in the fifth yeare of the Dominion of the Right honoble Charles &c over the Province of Maryland Annoq Dm One thousand six hundred and Eighty before us William Stevens & Thomas Newbald two of the Justices for the County of Somsett came Isaac Foxcroft and Bridgett his wife partys to the w.thin written Indentures in their proper persons and the said Bridgett being by the said Justices alone and secretly examined according to the forme of a certaine Act of Assembly in that case made and provided did acknowledge the land in the said within written Indentures menconed to be the Right of him the within named Ninian Beale and those the said Ninian Beale hath of the Guift of them the said Isaac Foxcroft and Bridgett for them and their heires and the heires of the said Bridgett hath remised and made quitt claime thereof to the said Ninian Beale and his heires for Ever And further the said Isaac Foxcroft & Bridgett hath granted the within menconed unto him the said Ninian Beale and his heires against them the said Isaac Foxcroft & Bridgett and their heires and all and every their heires of the said Bridgett they will warrant for Ever and for this acknowledgement quitt claime and agreement the said Ninian Beale hath given to them the said Isaac Foxcroft and Bridgett the sume of Twelve thousands pounds of tobacco for Consideracon of the same The within Conveyance was acknowledged before mee & Thomas Newbold by Isaac Will Stevens Foxcroft and Bridgett his wife and by the Taken before us above Certificate Will Stevens Tho Newbold Sworne before me this 13.th September 1681 Vincent Lowe February 14.th 1681 Thomas Ba^t^son of S.t Marys County desired that the marke of his Cattle & hoggs might be Recorded w.ch is as follow Right eare cropt & two Nicks on the Topp of the Eare The left Eare Two under bitts & taken out of the under side of the Eare |
