(211) 220 This Indenture made the Four and Twentyeth day of December in the Seventh year of the Dominion of the Right honoble Charles absolute Lord & Prop.ry of the Province of Maryland Annoq.r Dm One thousand six hundred Eighty One Betweene James Neale the Elder of Charles County in the said Province of Maryland Gent and Anne his Wife and the honoble William Calvert Esq.r Principall Secretary of the said Province of Maryland & Elizabeth his Wife of the One part and James Neale of Charles County aforesaid the Younger Sonn of the said James Neale the Elder and Elizabeth Calvert the daughter of the said William Calvert Esq.r of the other part Whereas the Right honoble Cæcilius of noble memory late Lord & Prop.ry of the said Province of Maryland & Avalon &c Did by his Letters Pattents under the greate seale of the said Province of Maryland bearing date the six and twentyeth day of May Anno Dm One thousand six hundred sixty & foure for the Consideracons therein menconed grannt unto the said James Neale the Elder by the name of Cap.t James Neale a parcell of land called S.t James's Containing and laid out for Seaven hundred Acres more or Lesse And also by his other Letters Pattents bearing date the Tenth day of January Anno Dm One thousand six hundred & seaventy for the Consideracons therein also menconed Did likewise grannt unto the said Anne Neale the Wife of the said James Neale and daughter & heire of Benjamine Gill deced a parcell of land Called Gills land lyeing upon Wicomoco River in Charles County aforesaid & Containing and laid out for Twelve hundred & Twenty Acres of land more or less And also by his other Letters Pattents Under the greate seale of the said Province of Maryland bearing date the six and twentyeth day of May Anno Dom One thousand six hundred sixty four for the Consideracons therein also menconed Did grannt unto the said James Neale the Elder All that parcell of land called S.t Anthonys lyeing in Charles County aforesaid on the South side of Piscattaway Creeke containing & laid out for three hundred and Fifty Acres more or lesse And also by the other Letters Pattents under the great seale of the said Province of Maryland bearing date the Thirteenth day of October Annoq.r Dm One thousand six hundred sixty six for the Consideracons therein also menconed Did also grannt unto the said James Neale the elder All that parcell of land Called S.t Dorothys lyeing on the East Side of Piscattaway River in Charles County aforesaid and Containing & laid out for six hundred & thirty Acres more or less And likewise by his other letters Pattents under the greate Seale of the Province aforesaid bearing date the day of Anno Dm One thousand six hundred for the Consideracons therein also menconed Did grant unto the said James Neale the elder all that parcell of land called Wooleston Manno.r lyeing in Charles County aforesaid and Containing and laid out for Two thousand Acres more or lesse as by the said letters Pattents remayning upon Record in the land Office att the Citty of S.t Marys in the Province of Maryland aforesaid Relacon being thereunto had it doth & may more att large appeare And whereas there is a Marryage by Gods grace intended to be within a short time had and solemnized between the said James Neale Jun.r Sonn of the said James Neale sen.r and the said Elizabeth Calvert the daughter of the said William Calvert and for the setling of the Inheritance of the said lands & Premisses and divers other things hereafter menconed & declared to the uses hereafter Expressed This Indenture witnesseth and it is hereby Covenanted Concluded Declared and agreed by and between all partys to these p.rsents (and |
