       This Indenture made the Eight day of November in the First yeare of the Dominion of
       Charles Absolute Lord & Proprietor of the Province of Maryland & Avalon Lord Barron of
       Baltemore &c Annoq Dom One Thousand six hundred Seaventy Six Betweene William
       Asbeston of Deepe Creeke in S.t Maryes County of the One part And Robert Mason of the
       Same County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said William Asbeston for &
       in Consideration of Eight Thousand pounds of good Sound Tobacco and Caske to him in hand
       payd att and before the Sealing and Delivery of these p.rsents by the said Robert Mason the
       Receipt whereof the said William Asbeston doth thereby Acknowledge And himselfe there was
       fully Satisffied Contented and paid and thereof and of Every part and parcell thereof doth
       hereby Absolutely and Clearly Exonerate Acquitt and Discharge the said Robert Mason his heyres
       Exec.rs Adm.rs and Assignes for Ever by these p.rsents Hath Given Granted Bargained
       Aliened Sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed And by these p.rsents doth fully Clearly and Absolutely
       Give Grant Bargaine Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirme to him the said Robert
       Mason his heyres and Assignes for Ever All that parcell and Tract of Land that lye
       to the Wesroard of his Cleare Ground of the plantacon he the said William Asbeston
       now liveth on Being Comonly Called by the name of Deepe Creeke in S.t Michaells Hundred
       in S.t Maryes County Aforesaid Beginning A Bounded Gum neare Adjoyneing to the
       line of James Lewis And running dew East South East unto A White Oake neare the
       Corner of the Said William Asbeston Orchard not farr distant from A bounded pyne &
       from the aforesaid White Oake haveing Two Notches next to A Sassafrax with two
       Notches And from thence to A Locus with Two Notches And from thence to A marked
       Dogwood Tree with two Notches from thence to A White Oake with Two Notches and
       from thence to A great Chesnutt nigh the head of Deepe Creeke haveing Two Notches
       all which Six last Mentioned Trees Lyeing along the Cleare Ground of Said William
       Asbeston Plantation and Running from the aforesaid Chesnutt upp the Maine Branch of
       Deepe Creeke dew West unto A Pokickory and from thence Running dew West along upon
       the aforementioned Gum Conteyning and now laid out for Fifty Acres more or lesse
       Together with all the Rights and Benefitts thereunto belonging or in any wise Concerning
       the p.rmisses or any part or parcell of them with all the Houses and Buildings
       and Orchards and Gardens whatsoever thereunto belongeth with all and Singular the
       Rights Members Jurisdictions Priveledges Profitts Benifitts appertayning or thereunto
       belonging To Have and to Hold the Said Tract or parcell of Land and all and Singular
       the Bargained p.rmisses unto him the Said Robert Mason his heyres and Assignes for Ever
       And the said William Asbeston for himselfe his heyres Exec.rs Adm.rs doth hereby Covenant
       and Grant to and with the said Robert Mason his heyres and Assignes that he the
       said William Asbeston his heyres Exec.rs Adm.rs and Assignes the said Tract of Land
       and all other the Bargained p.rmisses unto him the Said Robert Mason his heyres and
       Assignes against all manner of person or persons whatsoever Claimeing by from or under
       him them Every of them Shall and wile for Ever hereafter warrant and defend by
       these p.rsents Sum the Said Robert Mason Yeilding and paying therefore yearly unto
       the Said William Asbeston his heyres Exec.rs Adm.rs att or upon the tenth of October Two
       poultry and in Case the said Rent be behind Tenn dayes after the Said time of paym.t
       That then it may or Shall be lawfull to and for the Said William Asbeston his heyres
       Exec.rs Adm.rs to distreyne upon the p.rmisses And for want of A sufficient distresse there
       to be had to Reenter And the same to hold and Enjoy as his or theire former Estate In Witnes
       whereof the partyes to these p.rsents have hereunto Interchangeably Sett theire hands and
       Seales the day and yeare above written

                                       On the Backside of the Above Deed was written as Followeth (viz.t)
       Aprill the Twenty fifth One Thousand Six hundred Seaventy Seaven The within
       written Deed was by the within named W.m Abeston in Open Court Acknowledged to the
       uses in the same Deed Specified
