       I resolved by Gods help to have seen you once againe att S.t Georges that wee
       might have iustly & firmly ended o.r Tedious acc.ts But I am soe indisposed
       w.th the remaines of the Maryland Ayne that I dare not as yett venture
       upon such a voyage I hope these will find y.u and all yo.rs in good health
       and y.t y.u have or will before the retorne of y.e ship that brings this to
       yo.r hands pay to M.r Petter Datto or order y.e iust ball of y.e Account of
       the Tobacco now soe long due to y.or Bro M.r Tho Addison that a Brotherly
       correspondence may stilbe kept up amongst y.u you may remember &
       your owne acc.tts will shew you that the ballance was att o.r accompting &c

       Since I cannot be with you I doubt not but you will assist M.r Watts
       in seeing the Tobacco shipt The trouble Given by old Gale both to yo.r
       Bro Thomas & Bro Henry will force them to depend of y.e Tobacco by
       your due this yeer Which I hope you will not faile to pay and then
       I am satisfied You may Comand any thing in reason from either of
       them or any of yo.r Relacons heer though they take it unkindly that
       you have not writt to any of them haveing soe good an opptunity
       there wilbe some Tobacco due to you w.ch Intrusted me with all by w.t
       it is I knowe not I left in M.r Woods hands who this pmist to send y.u
       the Products of it in Goods according to yo.r ord.r to me I am soe

       in Cumberland in y.e Kingdom of England Gent of & from John Addison of S.t
       Georges hund.rd in y.e County of S.t Marys in y.e Province of Maryland afd
       Mchant the full sume & iust quantity of Twenty One Thousand Eight
       hundred Eighty Three pounds of good sound mchantable leaf Tobacco &
       Caske being y.e Ballance of acco.tts bills bonds & demands w.tsoever between
       the said Thomas Addison & John Addison according to y.e Teno.r of two Lers
       from y.e s.d Chr Aglionby y.e Attorny of the said Tho Addison one directed
       to y.e s.d Jo.n Addison thother directed to me y.e s.d Peter Watts both bearing
       date y.e Fourth day of December Annoq Dm 1679 In witness whereof I
       have hereunto sett my hand & seal the day & year first above written
