       Aforesaid To him the said William Dorrington his heires and Assignes for ever
       To the onely use and behoofe of the said William Dorrington his heires & assignes
       forever and to or for noe other use intent or purpose whatsoever To bee holden of his
       his Lopp and his heires as of the Lopps Manno.r of Calverton in free and Comon
       soccage by fealty onely for all manner of services Yeilding and paying therefore
       yearely unto his Lopp and his heires att his Lopps Receipt att his Citty of
       S.t Maryes att the Two most usuall feasts in the yeare viz Att the feast of
       the Annutiacon of our Blessed Virgin Mary and att the Feast of St Michael
       the Archangell by even and equall portions the Rent of one pound foure shillings
       sterling in silver or gold and a fyne upon every Alienation of the said Land or any
       part or parcell thereof one Whole yeares Rent in silver or gold or the full vallue
       thereof in such Comodities as his Lopp or his heires or such officer or officers
       appointed by his Lopp or his heires from time to time to Collect and Receive
       the same shall accept in Discharg thereof att the Choice of his Lopp his heires
       and Assignes or such Officer or officers as aforesaid Under such other Covenants
       Condicons Limitacons Provisoes and Exceptions as in and by the said Recited Deed
       of Grant Relation being thereunto had more att large it doth and may appeare
       And Whereas alsoe the said William Dorington by his Deed Indented of
       bargaine and sale under the hand and seale bearing date the Fifth day of January
       in the Two and fortieth yeare of the Dominion of the Right hono.ble Cæcilius
       of most noble memory and in the yeare of our Lord god One thousand six hundred seaventy
       three and made betweene William Dorrington of the County of Dorchester in the
       Province of Maryland plant.r of the one part and Thomas Taylor of Ann Arund.ll
       County in the aforesaid province of Maryland Esqr Lawfull Gardian to Solomon
       Thomas the Lawfull sonn and heire of Thomas Thomas late of the County of
       Calvert deceased of the other part Did for the Consideracon therein menconed Give
       Grant Alienate and Confirme unto the said Thomas Taylor his heires & assignes All
       that tract parcell or Divident of Land aforesaid Called Island neck scituate Lyeing &
       being in the Lopps County of Calvert And begining att a marked oake standing by
       a marsh neare the head of a Creeke Called Island Creeke on the west side thereof
       and Runing Downe the Creeke into the River for length six hundred eighty and
       five perches bounding on the south with the said River for Length Fifty perches to a
       Creeke Called back Creeke on the west w.th the said Creeke for the Length of
       Foure hundred and five perches to a marked beech tree and with a Line drawne
       north and by east from the said beech for the Length of Two hundred and seaventy
       perches to a marked oake on the north with a Line Drawne east from the said oake
       into the said Island Creeke On the East with the said Creeke Containing six hundred
       Acres more or Lesse Together with all Rights pffitts and benifitts hereunto
       belonging or in any wise appertaining Royall mynes Excepted Together w.th all such
       Estate right Title Interest use posession Rent Reversion Remand Eposibility Inheritance
       Claime and Demand whatsoever of him the said William Dorrington of in or to the
       said parcell or tract of Land and p.rmisses with the appurtenances and every part and
       parcell thereof Together alsoe with all Timber and Timber trees woods & Underwoods
       now Growing standing or being upon the said Tract pcell or Divident of Land and
       premisses or any part or parcell thereof And alsoe all and singuler the Pattents
       grants Deeds writeings Evidences Escripts Boundaries Chirographies of Fynes
       Exemplifications ^of^ Recoveries & minuments whatsoever Touching or Concerning the said
       p.rmisses or any part or parcell thereof To have and to hold the said six hundred
       Acres of Land Called Island Neck with all and singuler the appurtenances before
