       all and singular such sume and sumes of money debts goods Tobaccoes wares
       Marchandizes effects and things whatsoever as now are or hereafter shall bee due and
       owing or belonging and appertaining to the said Constituant by and from any pson or
       psons whatsoever in Maryland aforesaid for what conserne cause or reason soever
       the same may bee nothing excepted now reserved with all costs damages and interests als
       for and in the name of the said Constituant to account compound agree arbitrate and in any
       amicable way to compell any matters and differences w.ch the said Constituant shall or may have
       with any pson or psons whatsoever in the said provinces of Maryland of the Recoveries and
       Receipts Composicons and agreem.ts acquittances or other sufficient discharge to make subscribe
       seale and deliver and if need bee for the p.rmisses to appeare and the pson of the said
       Constituant to rep.rsent in all Courts and before all Lords Judges & Justices and to doe say
       pursue implead seize sequester attach arrest imprison & to condemne and out of prison againe
       when need shall bee to deliver Cum faculate substituendi and generally in and Concerning
       the p.rmisses and the Dependences thereof to doe say transact and accomplish all and
       whatsoever the said Constituant her selfe might or could doe psonally although the matter
       required more specially authority then herein is comprized The said Constituant hereby pmiseing
       to have and hold alsoe to ratifie & Confirme for good and of vallue for ever all & whatsoever
       her said Attorney or his substitutes shall lawfully doe or pcure to bee done in and about the
       p.rmisses by vertue of these p.rsents Lastly the said appearer hereby declares that the power
       hereby given is in noe sense to extend to the sale or allienacon of her plantacon in
       Maryland aforesaid now is her said Attorney to intermeddle therein without her expresse
       order in writeing to that purpose In Witnesse whereof she hath hereunto put her
       hand and seale and these presents for and as her Act and Deed has delivered in the p.rsence of

       This Indenture made the Eleaventh day of March in the fifth yeare of
       Charles &c Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the provinces of Maryland & Avalon
       Lord Baron of Baltemore &c Betweene Margaret Hall of the Crose Manno.r in
       the County of St Maryes spinster of the one part and Phillip Calvert of the Citty of St
       Maryes Esq.r of the other part Witnesseth that the said Margaret for and in
       Consideracon of the sume of Twenty thousand pounds of Tobacco to her in hand paid
       whereof she doth hereby Exonerate acquitt and discharge him the said Philip Calvert
       his heires Execut.rs and adm.rs Hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed &
       confirmed and by these p.rsents doth give grant bargaine sell alien enfeoffe and confirme to
       him the said Philip Calvert all those Two Devidends of Land part or parcell of the Crosse
       and Elizabeths Mannours scituate lyeing and being in St Maryes County aforesaid & by
       the last will and testam.t in writeing of Walter Hall late of the said Crosse Manno.r dec.d
       in her the said Margaret widdowe and Ex.ix of him the said Walter legally vested Lyeing
       Eastward of a swampe in the said mannours Comonly called the Medowe swampe
       And begining at the mouth of the said Medowe swampe and runing up the side of the
       said swampe to the devideing trees marked betweene the Lands of Marke Cordea & him the
       said Walter Containing by estimacon Twelve hundred acres of Land bee it more or lesse
       Together with all woods underwoods & timber trees and all other proffitts and benifitts
       out of the said Land ariseing or Acrueing or hereafter to arrise or Accrue To have &
       to hold to him the said Phillip Calvert his heires ^Exec.rs^ and assignes for ever In witnesse whereof
       the parties to these p.rsent Indentures have interchangeably set theire hands and seales the
       day and yeare above written and in the yeare of our Lord 1679
