       To all that shall see these p.rsents or heare them to bee Read S.t Joseph Sheldon Knt
       Lord Mayor and the Aldermen or Senat.rs of the Citty of London send greeting Know yee that on
       the day of the date hereof in the Kings Majesties Court holden before us in the Chamber of the
       Guild to all of the said Citty personally came and appeared Thomas Luckett of London aforesaid
       scriven aged five and thirty years or Thereabouts Being a person well knowne and worthy
       of good faith and Creditt and did by his solemne Oath which hee tooke upon the holy Evangelists
       of Almighty God before us then and there Solemnly declare Testifie and depose to bee true
       at the request of Robert Hawkins of London Roapmaker That hee was p.rsent
       and did see William Dunkerton signe seale and as his Act and Deed deliver to and for
       the use of the Requirant Robert Hawkins a certaine Originall Deed Indented and made
       the Two and Twentieth day of September Annoq Domini 1675 And in the seaven and
       Twentieth yeare of his Majesties Reigne that now is Betweene the said William
       Dunkerton by the name of William Dunkerton late of Baltemore County in the
       Province of Maryland in or neare Virginia and then of London Merchant of the
       One partie And the said Robert Hawkins by the name of Robert Hawkins late
       of the said County and Province and now of London Roapmaker of the other partie
       purporting his the said William Dunkertons Mortgageing of sundry Lands in
       Baltemore County aforesaid For and in Consideracon of the better security and
       more sure payment to bee made to the said Robert Hawkins of the summe of One
       hundred and thirty pounds of Lawfull money of England by him oweing to the said
       Robert Hawkins according as mand by the said Deed is more at large exprest and that
       hee this Deponent as a witnesse to such the said William Dunkertons signeing sealeing and
       delivery of the said Deed did putt his forme   on the backside thereof as by the same
       appears w.ch Deed was this day produced to this Depon.t Whole and Uncanselled In
       Faith and Testimony whereof wee the said Lord Mayor and Aldermen the seale of
       the Office of Mayoralltie of the said Citty of London to these presents have caused
       to bee putt and appended And the said Originall produced Deed and a procuration
       or Letter of Attorney firmed by William Scorey who is a Notary publique faithfully
       Legall and of trust by his Majes.ts authority admitted and sworne dwelling
       in this Citty to bee hereunto annexed Dated in London the thirteenth day of septemb.r
       Annoq Domini 1676 And in the eight and twentieth yeare of the Reigne of our
       Soveraigne Lord Charles the Second King of England &c.a

       By this Public Instrument of Procuration or Letter of Attorney bee it
       Knowne and manifest unto all people that On the thirteenth day of the Month of Septem.r
       Anno Dom 1676 And in the eight and Twentyeth yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne
       Lord Charles the Second by the Grace of God King of England Scotland France and
       Ireland Defend.r of the Faith &c before me William Scorey Notary & Tabellion
       publick by authority of our said soveraigne Lord the King admitted and sworne
       dwelling in this Citty of London and in the presence of the witnesses after named
       personally appeared Robert Hawkins of London aforesaid Roapmaker and hath
       made Ordained and in his stead and place hath putt and Constituted and by these
       p.rsents doth make ordaine and in his stead and place doth putt and Constitute M.r W.m
       Dare of the Province of Maryland Merchant at present in London the bearer hereof
       his True and Lawfull Attorney Giveing unto him full power authority and speciall charge
       for and in the name and to the use of him Constitnant to aske demand and Leavie recover
       and receive of and from William Dunkerton of the said Province of Maryland
       Merch.t or of his heires Executo.rs or adm.rs or Such other person or persons whome
       it of Right doth or may Concerne The Summe of one hundred and thirty pounds
       of Lawfull Money of England w.ch the said William Dunkerton doth owe and is
       indebted to the said Continant as may appeare by a certaine Deed made
       Between them and dated the Two and twentieth day of September 1675 Together
       w.th all Costs dammages and Interests In and by the w.ch Deed the said William
       Dunkerton haveing assigned and Mortgaged Sundry lands in Baltemore County
       in the Province of Maryland for and in Consideracon of the better security &
       more sure payment to bee made to the said Robert Hawkins of the said sume
       of One hundred and Thirty pounds in manner and forme as in the said Deed is
       expressed The said Contitnant doth therefore by vertue hereof Impower &
       authorize his said Attorney upon default of payment of the said Moneys to
       enter upon and take possession of all and every the Lands made over for security
                                                                                           By the said Deed as afores.d
