SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

AN ACT concerning

Caroline County — Board of Elections

FOR the purpose of increasing the salaries of the
Caroline County Board of Elections.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,

Article 33 - Election Code
Section 2-3(a)(6)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 2-3(a)(6) of Article 33 - Election
Code, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement
Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 33 — Election Code

2-3.

(a) Each member of the boards of the several
political subdivisions of the State shall receive an
annual salary of not less than the following amounts:

(6) Caroline County: [$300] CHAIRMAN $750; ASSOCIATE
MEMBERS $600 EACH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of this Act shall not be construed to extend
or apply to the salary of the Members of the Caroline
