COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

(630) Warden

Education equivalent to completion of twelfth school
grade. Four years of experience maintaining security and
discipline in a correctional institute or system, two
years of which shall have been at the supervisory level.
Or: any equivalent combination of acceptable education
and experience which has provided the knowledges, skills
and abilities cited above.

(701)  Utility I

Education equivalent to completion of sixth school
grade. Or: any equivalent combination of acceptable
education and experience which has provided knowledges,
skills and abilities cited above.

(702)  Utility II

Education equivalent to completion of sixth school
grade. One year of general laboring experience including
use of small hand and power tools. Or: any equivalent
combination of acceptable education and experience which
has provided the knowledges, skills and abilities cited
above.

Eligibility for a valid driver's license. Class D
issued by the State of Maryland prior to appointment, and
possession of such licensure within time limits specified
by the County and during tenure of employment as a
Utility II, if required by work.

(711)  Motor Equipment Operator I

Education equivalent to completion of sixth school
grade. One year of experience operating large dump
trucks and/or other motor equipment of same complexity.
Or: any equivalent combination of acceptable education
and experience which has provided the knowledges, skills
and abilities cited above.

Eligibility for a valid driver's license Class B
issued by the State of Maryland, prior to appointment,
and possession of such licensure within time limits
specified by the County and during tenure of employment
as a Motor Equipment Operator I, if required by work
assignments.

(712)  Motor Equipment Operator II

Education equivalent to completion of sixth school
grade. Two years of experience operating motor equipment
including one year operating wheeled and tracked motor
equipment. Or: any equivalent combination of acceptable
