Eligibility for certification as a Class A
Superintendent for Wastewater Collection Systems issued
by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene prior to appointment, and possession of such
certification within time limits specified by the County.

(607)  Deputy Sheriff

Education equivalent to completion of tenth school
grade. Or: any equivalent combination of acceptable
education and experience which has provided the
knowledges, skills and abilities cited above.

Eligibility for a valid driver's license Class D
issued by the State of Maryland prior to appointment, and
possession of such licensure within time limits specified
by the County and during tenure of employment as a Deputy
Sheriff, if required by work.

(608) Chief Deputy Sheriff

Education equivalent to completion of tenth school
grade. Two years of experience as a Deputy Sheriff. Or:
any equivalent combination of acceptable education and
experience which has provided the knowledges, skills and
abilities cited above.

Eligibility for a valid driver's license Class D,
issued by the State of Maryland, prior to appointment,
and possession of such licensure within time limits
specified by the County and during tenure of employment
as a Chief Deputy Sheriff, if required by work.

(619) Cook

Education equivalent to completion of tenth school
grade. One year of experience cooking on a volume basis.
Or: any equivalent combination of acceptable education
and experience which has provided the knowledges, skills
and abilities cited above.

(621) Correctional Officer

Education equivalent to completion of eighth school
grade. Or: any equivalent combination of acceptable
education and experience which has provided knowledges,
skills and abilities cited above.
