SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that this
Act, having been passed by the affirmative vote of not
less than five members of the County Council, is hereby
declared to be effective on the first day after the end
of the current term of the County Executive.

AN ACT to change the names of certain existing
bureaus and to add certain new bureaus to the
organization of the Department of Health, by repealing
and re—enacting with amendments Section 13.1—1 of the
Baltimore County Code, 1968, (1972 Cumulative Supplement)
title "Health and Sanitation", Article I. In General.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Section 13-1.1 of the
Baltimore County Code, 1968 (1972 Cumulative Supplement)
title "Health and Sanitation", Article I. In General, be
and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments,
as follows:

Section 13—1.1. Organization of department of
health.

The organization of the department of health shall
consist of the board of health, the director, the deputy
director and the following bureaus:

(1)    Bureau of medical services.

(2)    Bureau of [health supervision] PREVENTIVE
SERVICES.

(3)    Bureau of [mental health] PATIENT CARE
SERVICES.

(4)    Bureau of [environmental health] MENTAL
HEALTH.

(5) Bureau of [public health nursing]
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES.
