COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

plumber; the County Health Officer or designee; a
representative of the Department of Public Works, and the
Chief Plumbing Inspector of Baltimore County. The
persons constituting the Committee shall not receive any
compensation for serving as members thereof. Chairman of
this Committee shall be the Chief Plumbing Inspector.

23—6 Administrative Authority

The Administrative Authority shall make such rules
and regulations and interpretations in addition to those
set forth herein, as are required to implement the
enforcement and operation of Article IV of this Title;
provided, however, that any such rules and regulations
shall be subject to the approval of the County Council of
Baltimore County.

ARTICLE III. Licenses

23—7 Types of Licenses

MASTER PLUMBER-GASFITTER'S LICENSES:

This license will be issued to a person who has
served two years or more as a registered journeyman
plumber or as a journeyman plumber—gasfitter, who has
served under a Master Plumber—Gasfitter or Master
Plumber, who is twenty—three years of age or older and
who must be a citizen of the United States and has been
qualified and approved by the Baltimore County Plumbing
Board under their requirements.

The holder of a Master Plumber-Gasfitter License is
eligible to secure permits and the authority to perform
plumbing, gasfitting, onsite sewer, water, gas, storm
drainage facilities, potable water supply system and
disposal systems in Baltimore County and employing
registered journeyman plumber—gasfitters and apprentices
and having a regular place of business in the State of
Maryland.

JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER-GASFITTER'S LICENSE:

This license will be issued to a person who has
served four years or more for a total of 7500 working
hours as an Apprentice Plumber-Gasfitter and who is
twenty—one years of age or older, and has been qualified
and approved by the Baltimore County Plumbing Board under
their requirements.

The holder of a Journeyman Plumber-Gasfitter License
is eligible to hire himself out to work at the plumbing
and gasfitting business for and under the direction of a
registered Master Plumber-Gasfitter.
