ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY: The Chief Plumbing
Inspector of Baltimore County and his authorized agents
acting under the direct supervision of the Buildings
Engineer of Baltimore County.

ARTICLE II. Administration

23—4 Plumbing Board

In Baltimore County there shall be a Plumbing Board
consisting of seven (7) members as follows: 3—Master
Plumbers residing and certified in Baltimore County,
1-Journeyman Plumber residing and certified in Baltimore
County, a practicing mechanical engineer, the remaining
two members of the board shall be the Baltimore County
Health Officer and the Chief Plumbing Inspector of
Baltimore County who shall be the Secretary of the Board.
The other members of the Board exclusive of the Baltimore
County Health officer and Chief Plumbing Inspector shall
receive such compensation as prescribed by the Baltimore
County Executive, to be paid from the fees for
examinations and certificates. The members of the Board,
other than the Chief Plumbing Inspector and Health
Officer shall be appointed by the County Executive.
Chair man of this Board shall be appointed by the County
Executive.

The Board, subject to the approval of the County
Council of Baltimore County, shall make such rules and
regulations in addition to those set forth herein as are
required to implement the enforcement and operation of
Article III of this Title.

23—5 Code Committee

The Code Committee that assisted in the preparation
of this Title shall remain as a committee for a period of
two (2) years following the effective date hereof for the
purpose of advising and assisting the Administrative
Authority in making rules and regulations, approving
materials, interpreting this Title, and making
recommendations from time to time for future revision
thereof. At the end of the two—year period, and at the
end of each subsequent two—year period, a Code Committee
shall be appointed by the Administrative Officer, subject
to the approval of the County Executive for such
purposes. The committee shall consist of eight persons as
follows: 3-Master Plumbers certified to do business in
Baltimore County, two of whom shall be members of the
Plumbing Board; one registered professional engineer
licensed to do business in the State of Maryland; one
member of the Home Builder's Association, who is not a
