(b) Any person violating the provisions of
subsection (a) herein, shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be
subject to a fine of not less than twenty—five dollars
nor more than one hundred dollars.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that this Act
shall take effect forty—five days after its enactment.

AN ACT to increase the salaries of members and substitute
members of the County Board of Appeals, by repealing
and re—enacting Sections 2—37 and 2-38 of the
Baltimore County Code, 1968, title "Administration",
Article V. Board of Appeals.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Section 2-37 of the
Baltimore County Code, 1968, title "Administration",
Article 7. Board of Appeals, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as
follows:
Sec. 2—37. Compensation of members; sessions.
The chairman of the board of appeals, as
compensation, shall be paid at the rate of [eight
thousand five hundred] TEN THOUSAND dollars per year.
Each member of the board as compensation, shall be at the
rate of [eight] NINE thousand dollars per year. The
members of the board of appeals shall hold sessions on no
less than two days in each week, and such other sessions
as the duties of their office and public convenience may
require.
SECTION 2. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MARYLAND, that Section 2-38 of the
Baltimore County Code, 1968, title "Administration",
Article V. Boards of Appeals, be and it is hereby
repealed and re—enacted with amendments, to read as
follows:
Sec. 2—38. Compensation of substitute members.
