BILL NO. 85-74

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 1 of Bill No. 81-67, as last amended
by Bill No. 44-74, legalizing Supplement No. 19, 5-74 to
the Anne Arundel County code (1967 Edition), as prepared
and published by the Municipal Code Corporation,
Tallahassee, Florida, and making it evidence of the law
of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. RE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1 of Bill No.
81-67, as last amended by Bill No, 44-74, be, and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

"SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Supplements "1-67"
through No. "11, 12—71", inclusive, to the Anne Arundel
County Code (1967 Edition) as prepared and published by
the Michie City Publications Company, Charlottesville,
Virginia, and Supplements Nos. "12, 6-72" through ["18,
1-74"] "19, 5-74% inclusive, as prepared and published
by the Municipal Code Corporation, Tallahassee, Florida,
be and they are hereby legalized, and made evidence of
the laws, of Anne Arundel County, Maryland."

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That it is the
intention of the County Council that the sections
paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of the
Supplements hereby legalized are severable, and if any
phrases, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of the
Supplements hereby legalized shall be declared
unconstitutional or otherwise invalid by the valid
judgment or decree of a court of competent jurisdiction,
such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect
any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences,
paragraphs, and sections of the Supplements hereby
legalized.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Ordinance shall take effect forty—five (45) days from the
date it becomes law.
