percent (25%) of the assessed valuation of the real
property located in the area to be annexed and represent
at least twenty—five (25%) of the persons who reside in
the area to be annexed who are registered as voters in
County elections;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of the City of Gaithersburg that the corporate
boundaries of the City of Gaithersburg be and they hereby
are enlarged by including therein the following area:

Being part of a tract of land called the Younger

Brothers, Metropolitan Grove, Montgomery County,

Maryland; and being more particularly described as
follows:

Beginning for the same at a point N 63° 48' 48" W-35
feet more or less from the most easterly corner of Parcel
B, Metropolitan Grove Park, a plat thereof recorded among
the Land Records of Montgomery County, Maryland in Plat
Book 78, Plat No. 7932; thence with the existing
Corporate Limits of the City of Gaithersburg, the
following four courses and distances

1.    N 63° 48' 48" W-440 feet more or less along
the north side of said Parcel B and the south
side of the B & 0 Railroad; thence crossing
said Railroad

2.    N 29° 20' E—425 feet more or less, thence

3.    S 70° 40' E-148 feet more or less, thence

4.    N 33° 36' 30" E—590 feet more or less, thence
running with the south and west side of Md.
N.C.P. & P.C. property as recorded in Liber
2981 Folio 95 the following two courses and
distances

5.    S 58° E—848 feet more or less, thence

6.    S 54° 50' 20" W-943 feet more or less to a
point on the north side of the B & 0 Railroad,
thence with the existing Corporate Limits of
the City of Gaithersburg, the following two
courses and distances

7.    N 59° 42' W-130 feet more or less with the
north side of said Railroad, thence crossing
said Railroad

8.    S 54° 50' 20" W—140 feet more or less to the
place of beginning, containing 16 acres more
or less.
