BERWYN HEIGHTS
Pursuant to Article 11E of the Annotated Code of
Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, the Commissioners of the Town of Berwyn
Heights desire to identify the legislature body of the
Town of Berwyn Heights in nomenclature of current and
familiar usage,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Section 23 (g) of the
Charter of the Town of Berwyn Heights read as follows:
"THE LEGISLATIVE BODY OF THE TOWN SHALL BE KNOWN AS
THE COUNCIL, AND EVERY REFERENCE IN THIS CHARTER,
ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ROLES, REGULATIONS AND OTHER
OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS AND PAPERS OF THE TOWN OF BERWYN
HEIGHTS TO THE COMMISSIONERS, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS,
A COMMISSIONER, AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMISSIONERS IS
HEREBY CHANGED TO THE COUNCILMEN, THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL,
A COUNCILMAN, AND THE MAYOR, RESPECTIVELY."

A RESOLUTION TO REVISE THE CHARTER
FOR THE TOWN OF BETTERTON
Resolution of the Commission for the Town of
Betterton, Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 23A, section 13, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, 1957 Edition as amended, entitled "Municipal
Corporation", to revise and amend the Charter of
Betterton, the said amendment to make the following
changes:
1. To amend and revise the description of the
Town to include in the Corporate Limits the recently
annexed area which is generally known as "Hastings Farm"
and to exclude those various parts of the old description
which are either unnecessary or inaccurate.
2. To change the governing body of the Town from
a Commission to that of Mayor and Council, said Council
to have four Councilmen.
3. To make the appropriate changes throughout the
