CERTIFICATIONS
of the Acts of 1974 was submitted to the voters of
Charles County under the provisions of Chapter 817, said
Act being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Charles County — County
Commissioners. For the purpose of permitting the
establishment of a Public Works Department in Charles
County, with provisions relating to established housing
subdivisions, and provisions generally relating to a
Public Works Department, and repealing all inconsistent
laws, and providing for a referendum on the establishment
of a Public Works Department,
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
5,927 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
817 and 2,204 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 817, the said Chapter 817 of the Acts of
1974 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of Charles County.

Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 27th day of
November, In the Year of Oar Lord, One Thousand, Nine

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1974, an Act known as Chapter 873
of the Acts of 1974 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XVI of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
