provide for the transportation of children attending
nonpublic schools in the State of Maryland, and relating
generally to State aid for children attending nonpublic
schools.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
314,520 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
873 and 411,153 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 873, the said Chapter 873 of the Acts of
1974 has therefore failed ratification by the qualified
voters of the State of Maryland.

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1974, a Resolution was submitted
to the voters of Allegany County under the provisions of
Article 11-F of the Constitution of the State of
Maryland, said Resolution being as follows:
A RESOLUTION that ALLEGANY COUNTY shall operate
under Article 11—F of the Maryland Constitution providing
"CODE HOME RULE STATUS".
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
6,563 votes were cast for the adoption of said Resolution
and 5,967 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Resolution, the said Resolution has therefore been
ratified by the qualified voters of Allegany County.
