882 and 362,730 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 882, the said Chapter 882 of the Acts of
1974 has therefore failed ratification by the qualified
voters of the State of Maryland.

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1974, an Act known as Chapter 883
of the Acts of 1974 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows:
AN ACT concerning Legislative Bills — Presentment,
Signing, Veto, and Effective Date. For the purpose of
making certain changes relating to the presentment,
signing, veto, and effective date of bills that have
passed the General Assembly, correcting certain language,
and providing for the submission of these amendments to
the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their
adoption or rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
392,208 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
883 and 122,943 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 883, the said Chapter 883 of the Acts of
1974 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland.
