as follows:
AN ACT concerning Elective Franchise — Absentee
Voting. For the purpose of permitting the General
Assembly to provide by suitable enactment for voting by
certain qualified voters and providing for the submission
of this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of
Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
409,778 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
881 and 148,448 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 881, the said Chapter 881 of the Acts of
1974 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland.
GIVEN Under My Hand and the Seal of the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws of the State of
Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 27th day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1974, an Act known as Chapter 882
of the Acts of the 1974 was submitted to the voters of
the State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act
being as follows:
AN ACT concerning Governor — Compensation. For the
purpose of increasing the salary of the Governor and
submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the
State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
306,101 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
