CERTIFICATIONS
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows:
AN ACT concerning General Assembly — Eligibility.
For the purpose of clarifying certain provisions
concerning eligibility of persons for the General
Assembly, changing the references to certain districts or
subdistricts from which Delegates and Senators are
elected, abolishing certain residence requirements and
establishing new residence requirements, renumbering
where appropriate, generally relating to residence
requirements of Delegates and Senators, correcting an
error therein and providing for the submission of these
amendments to the qualified voters of the State of
Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
338,693 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
880 and 190,709 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 880, the said Chapter 880 of the Acts of
1974 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of the State of Maryland.

Administrative Board of Election Laws of the State of
Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 27th day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1974, an Act known as Chapter 881
of the Acts of 1974 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
