MARVIN MANDEL, Governor

3969

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17, of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill
932.

This bill provides that full time masters in
chancery and masters in juvenile causes in Prince
George's County are included in the contributory plan of
the Judges' Retirement System.

House Bill 1098, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 15, 1975, provides that
any full—time court master in any county or in Baltimore
City is included in the contributory plan of the Judge's
Retirement System. The provisions of Senate Bill 932 are
thus included within the provisions of House Bill 1098.

Since the purpose of Senate Bill 932 is accomplished
by the signing of House Bill 1098, it is unnecessary for
me to sign Senate Bill 932.

Sincerely,

/s/ Marvin Mandel

Governor

Senate Bill No. 934 — Baltimore City; School Bond
Issue Repeal

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City — Bond Issue Authorization Repeal

FOR the purpose of repealing in its entirety Chapter 129
of the Laws of Maryland of 1971 (Baltimore City Bond
Issue Authorization — School Building).

May 15, 1975.
Honorable Steny H. Hoyer
President of the Senate
State House
Annapolis, Maryland

Dear Mr. President:
