VETOES
Special Appeals upon appeal from an orphan's court or the
Maryland Tax Court.
House Bill, 797, enacted by the General Assembly and
signed by me on April 22, 1975, amends the same sections
of the Code insofar as the Tax Court is concerned and in
addition amends the applicable appeal provisions of
Article 81. House Bill 911, enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 1, 1975, amends
Section 12—201 of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings
Article to provide for review of orphans court appeals by
certiorari in the same manner provided by Senate Bill
850.
Senate Bill 850 does not contain the amendments to
Article 81 which are contained in House Bill 797 and
since the purposes of Senate Bill 850 have been
accomplished by the signing of House Bills 797 and 911, I
have decided to veto Senate Bill 850.
Sincerely,
/s/ Marvin Mandel
Governor
