The general reference to "butanes" is deleted
as unnecessary in light of the reference to
the more specific "normal butane" and
"isobutane."

The only other changes are in style.

"MARK" INCLUDES ANY NAME, INITIAL, OR OTHER DEVICE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added without substantive change to avoid
undue repetition of the phrase "name, initial,
or other device."

(E)   MARKED CONTAINER.

"MARKED CONTAINER" MEANS A CONTAINER WHICH BEARS ON
ITS SURFACE IN PLAINLY LEGIBLE CHARACTERS THE MARK OF ITS
OWNER.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added without substantive change for the
purposes of brevity, as well as to make
consistent all references in this subtitle to
a container which bears an identification of
its owner.

(F)   OWNER.
"OWNER" MEANS:

(1)   ANY PERSON WHO HOLDS A WRITTEN BILL OF
SALE UNDER WHICH TITLE OR OWNERSHIP TO A CONTAINER WAS
TRANSFERRED TO HIM; OR

(2)   ANY MANUFACTURER OF A CONTAINER WHO HAS
NOT TRANSFERRED OWNERSHIP OF THE CONTAINER UNDER A
WRITTEN BILL OF SALE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 27, §355A(b).

In item (2) of this subsection, the word
"sold" is deleted as unnecessary in light of
use of the broad term "transferred."

The only other changes are in style.
